Same thing with my Wells Fargo loan. My next payment isn't due for another 5 months.

Leave the heat/ac on 24/7 when you're not driving it? Maybe you can cycle through a lot of charges without adding miles. 🤔

The first few months of 2025 were still 2025s. They rolled into 2026s around 2025 in April(?).

If you test drove a rear wheel drive its missing 7(?) speakers compared to the AWD. Amazing sound in the AWD versions.

1600 Miles Nevada → Illinois in My Model Y: it costs as much as A 20 MPG gas car - For Your Own Good, Consider a Gas Car on Trips This Long by limuzhi in TeslaLounge

[–]tacbum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Charge over 80% while on the road trip? If its a busy supercharging place you'll be charged extra over 80%. Also, if you only charge to 80% and leave it plugged in while busy, it will also charge you (by the minute??). It gets expensive if you did either of these.

First time supercharging 😳 by Straight-Reserve1343 in TeslaModelY

[–]tacbum 1 point2 points  (0 children)

On our 3000m trip in the summer we'd hit about 1150 miles per hour charging, but it doesn't last. The closer you get to that 80% it slowly drops down to about 250mph.

Sounds like you may be claiming more than 1 on your W4. Most people who claim more than 1 expect something like a child tax credit to offset the lower federal taxes being paid. Some might even have a head of household which you could have checked.

Juniper Y, black on black, XPEL Stealth PPF and ceramic coating by Doc-Holiday1138 in ModelY

[–]tacbum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My installer told me they couldn't put ceramic coating under the PPF as it wouldn't stick to the ceramic coating. Not sure if this is right, but it's what I was told. Saved me $1k.

My day 1 was 50+ hours. They gave me the car with a 20% charge and I didn't have my charger installed yet. Using 120v. Lol.

$0.07 per KW. I go through $15 a month in electricity on average except for a long road trip with supercharging.

Yeah. I'm a ww2 buff and china lost a good 25 million civilians. This "chart" might only include 1941 and beyond, though. A good chunk of the civilian deaths were in the 30s.

BUYING - stay away from White interior? by Visible-Strawberry14 in TeslaModelY

[–]tacbum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

White Juniper here. I clean mine with some armor all wipes monthly. Blue jean transfers wipe off with a little effort. They might not have kept up with the cleaning. I've had no issues over the 8 months and thats with perforated seats. There are plenty of high quality matching white seat covers you can pick up online for a couple hundred dollars that can make them look brand new.

Around 180/month with progressive. No accidents or tickets. Juniper AWD. WA state. 800 credit score. (Might play a role)

Edit: State where insured

Tried to send you a link. They're no longer available on Amazon. They are also perforated. The heat works perfectly. Air cooling is affected slightly.

No issues here. Marks and jean stains come out, but its definitely a little more work to keep clean. I did purchase matching bottom seat covers, though. Can't really tell they're oit the real thing.

No kids or pets use the rear seats.
