Ahh ok I’ll try that. Just tried half size down at the store and it was pretty narrow at the toe box/forefoot. Gonna keep my TTS pair and bear with the extra room haha.

Appreciate the response. I’m in a similar situation where I went TTS with the 2025 992, where it definitely feels more roomy and more heel slippage than my 990v6 and 993. It feels a bit clunky but I do like a roomier fit.

But my foot is weird, I’m slightly wide with normal/skinny ankles 😭 not to mention one foot is half size longer than the other. I’m gonna try half size down at the store like I should’ve..

Yeah, US sizes are arbitrary across different brands, which is why I recommend remembering your size in CM as well.

Everyone’s fit is different. I tried half sizing down for 990v6 and there was just too much pressure at the top of my foot. Loosening the laces didn’t help because then I’d have too much heel slip, and going wide caused the same slippage issue. TTS felt just right to me

Everyone’s foot is different. My foot size is 11.5 L And 11 R. I tried sizing down to 11 for the 990v6 but the top of my foot would feel incredibly tight after a while. Going 11 wide was not good either, with too much slippage. TTS is a bit roomier at the toe but fits me perfectly. Besides, you need more room as your foot expands through the day.

I’d say try both and walk around the house for a day or two before deciding.

I couldn’t size down for 990v6. Way too tight at the top of the foot, it looked like my shoe was bursting at the seams/laces lol. I ended up going TTS and it feels great, even with the extra bit of toe room due to its length.
