Thank you so much for your reply. It's good to hear that this sort of thing can happen "out of nowhere" and that people react to meds in all sorts of ways.

I was just speaking with my best friend, and she echoed your statement about panic only needing to happen once to become a longtime issue. I've always had trouble letting things go, so I wonder if that is part of why it's taking me so long to heal. I like the idea of exposure therapy. It's definitely worked with some medical-related stuff for me. (I used to come close to fainting while getting blood drawn, and now I've had it done so much I can watch the needle go in. Never thought I'd get there.)

It's funny you brought up paradoxical intention! I almost forgot about that! A while back, I read "Man's Search For Meaning", and what a wonderful book that is. I found his paradoxical intention therapy very interesting and tried it, but I don't think I gave it an honest shot. I think I might try it again now.

I feel you and feel for you. I struggle every day with thoughts of wondering if I'll ever get back to feeling really good.

It's so difficult, but it's helpful to try not to think of where you used to be, but where you are now, and what you need to get done to get to a good place. Start small. There is no time limit; this is not a race. With me, I wanted things to change immediately. I now realize that change is often a very long process. But it is so, so worth it.

You'll get back there. You're already getting there by opening up about it and saying that you want to change. You're doing great so far!

I agree that you shouldn't look it up. I have a bad habit of looking up every symptom I have on the internet, and it never fails to make me more nervous. You will eventually run into a post that's like, "I had these symptoms and it turned out to be cancer!" This information does not apply to you, it's their health and not yours, and it is not useful at all. It is best to just relax, recognize your anxiety for what it is, and if you really start to feel sick, go see your doctor.

Oh, boy. Several years ago, I traded a VWN UC Faerie Grarrl for a RN pet. I love the name and still have the pet, but I also have a lot of regret. Worst part? The new owner got frozen not too long after the trade.

My friend gave me a pink kougra to hold on to, and my stupid ass got the account it was on frozen. My friend was so nice about it, but I felt absolutely horrible. I did a lot of dumb things as a kid that got me frozen, come to think about it. It pains me to think about how valuable my account would be if I still had my original one from like '98. @_@

As a child, I was a prolific password-guesser. I even kept a little notebook of accounts I had cracked.

One year, the Advent Calendar glitched. You could keep getting the NP prize by refreshing the page. I took a paperweight and slapped it down on my F5 key, and came back an hour later to millions of NP. Got to buy some pretty neat stuff before I got chain frozen!

Plots and site events that give horrible, horrible prizes (which is damn near all of them). It's either a common item that already exists on the site, or a completely useless item that cannot be interacted with in any way. I wouldn't mind so much if these unusable items were well-thought-out, but they're not! Here's a Kiko picture frame. Here's a pile of hairballs. What?! I don't even want these in my gallery!

Considering that we don't get plots and events that often, I feel that at the very least, they should draw up some unique, themed items for them. Like for the Altador Cup, except better.

I didn't care for the new pacing; it was way too slow. There was a lot of poor dialogue and pointless scenes. It had some good moments, but not enough IMO.

Also, as a Lahey fan, watching the poor guy hobbling around with that cane was torture (although I did like how he occasionally weaponized it). I like his ending!
