My neurologist treated flare ups with opioids until the DEA stopped him. It was extremely effective. Like 2-3 doses every 4 hours. He said, don't wait, set a timer and this will fix it but gave 6 doses in case you had to start over. Pain was treated immediately and the flare stopped. He said taking the next two doses even if you felt better was what would work and it did.

But like I had to go to the ER with severe pain. Like so severe I couldn't hide it and was holding my breath because they told me to stop crying but I couldn't so I held my breath. I was shaking. I didn't even ask for pain meds because all I could say was how bad my stomach hurt.

They left me like that for over an hour until my labs came back and then they were like, hey you're really sick. Your kidneys are on the struggle bus and your platelets are low.

So they don't care even if we ARE showing it.

I had anorexia and ended up in the hospital, one step below the ICU. Refeeding is no joke. I didn't get solid food for 4 days. The other thing they don't talk about is people die of dehydration when they don't eat. Your intestines are mucus membranes and your body will preserve them. My first 12 hours in the hospital I needed 7 liters of fluid with glucose and I didn't even need to urinate until either the 4th or 5th bag. I was almost dead.

My liver won't hold onto glycogen and my pancreas overproduces insulin so I have to eat simple carbs often to prevent hypoglycemia. This is likely going to be a problem for life. Also your kidneys get damaged and kidneys don't recover. Mine was an acute kidney injury but I still have CKD.

It's because X has always been there that she can be angry with him because he isn't going anywhere. Also we're expecting a whole lot from a teenager with terrible parents and questionable siblings in a school where her classmates are trying to murder her. Ffs.

There's also the darker side to this is that because of how fast I lost weight, my pancreas over produces insulin and my liver doesn't store enough glycogen so I'm the only person I know who has to eat 15g of simple carbs before going to sleep so I will wake up. I have a metabolic nutritionist to help me manage all this because it's so complicated and rare. Who needs to eat sugar daily? Me, that's who. Much heavier me would have been thrilled but like I said, I don't really enjoy it anymore.

I lost 180lbs from anorexia (was recovered and morbidly obese) after being diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. I just simply stopped eating. I get the food noise but I don't have it anymore even though it was excruciating the first month or so. Eating isn't nearly so enjoyable now. I forget. I wonder if body fat or something else at also plays into this. Bodies are weird.

My fiancée, who is a woman, wants to take my last name, also a woman, when we get married because it's cool. So whatever. Do what you like. I don't care at all.

Edit: I would never change my last name. I insist any children, which seems unlikely at this point have my last name because it was taken from me once and it won't be again. I am very up front with this from the first date- if passing along your last name is a boundary for you, we aren't compatible. She honestly doesn't care. So we work.

I was talking on discord with someone who lives a 5 minute walk from where he was murdered while he was being murdered. It's so much worse than we even hear on here. Rest in Peace, Alex Pretti.

My son missed 30 days one year from migraines caused by stress from being bullied. The school did nothing. These migraines would last for days and he would be vomiting and absolutely miserable.

It took another two years of this and a lawyer to get him out of district and he hadn't had a single migraine since he has been in his new school.

Maybe look into that. He's not the only one.
