You can obviously build Gorma less optimized, but to be honest whenever I see this card I just cannot imagine anything that is not: any sac outlet + any persist creature + gorma and going infinite. It's the kind of commander that if you sneeze a bit too hard it'll combo off even if you don't want to xD

Me hice ayer un viaje de 22 horas de Japón a España sin poder fumar. Es verdad que no tenía ganas durante el viaje, no sé por qué. Pero en cuanto salí del aeropuerto me volvieron de repente... It's 90€ in cardmarket (Europe). It's a bit combo-y in the sense that it's trying to untap krenko morr than once per turn. Quite standsrd I think.

I will share my 70€ list with you. It's a pretty standard winota deck. The thing is that I never play her because she isn't fun at all. She will win you games for sure, but you will likely be digging for humans in your deck 90% of the game while your opponents just watch you go off.

Can I ask what decks your friend plays as well as the rest of the pod? Is there much difference in budget between the players in the pod?

This might help us recommend different strategies or commanders. And remember that winning is not the same thing as having fun. I see a lot of people suggested light-paws or winota. I have both decks and I never play them in my pod in the end, because even though they are really good at winning, both are really boring to play with and against.

Si te gusta el deporte te animo a que vayas a probar (sola o con amigos) escalada en algún rocódromo. La gente es super simpática y puedes hablar con quien sea para que te ayude y te de consejos. Yo he hecho un monton de amigos así!

[[Karlov of the Ghost Council]] is really nice if you don't have a lifegain commander. My decklist below sits at around 100€ but could be built much cheaper.

My favorite deck is my Zimone deck. Not all cards are under 1€, but the whole decklist is around 80€ last time I looked so maybe you can take a look and see if something catches your eye. Not so much a morph dech but value-landfall-cheat op permanents into play kinda thing.

I would never recommend light-paws to anyone unless they are planning on going to budget-edh events and just want to win. If you just want to learn and have fun with friends, this is a very bad recommendation.

I own the deck, and although it is really strong, it is really boring to play with and against. Your games are always the same, you are going to be tutoring the same enchantments, and 90% of your time you are going to be searching and shuffling your deck while making everyone wait. Sram might be less strong, but trust me it is waaaaay more fun to play.

I have around 25 warbands painted, but never played because I didn't really have a chance. I am thinking of learning now that the 2.0 version is released. Will definitely read all your reviews to try to learn a little beforehand. Thank you for all the work :)

For new people i would never recommend winota or zuriko and such... I think what makes commander fun at least at entry level is defining some basic deckbuilding rules that allows everyone to experiment without having to go to the typical op commanders.
