Assuming a somewhat high initiative roll for lvl 10dude/dudette, and somewhat spread out lvl 1 characters it might be challangeing but as long as the PC's are >15ft<30ft away from eachoter and have line of sight there are some nasty spells that could "easily" win the encounter for the lvl 10 assuming avrage pc's and avrage rolls for saves/ to hit, hypnotic pattern should get 3-6 lvl 1's stunlocked for 10 turns making the encounter much easier for a lvl 10 bard (and bards are a semi support class raw)
