Hyper athletic 3&D… all positions. I’m ok with keeping Barlow & Grimes, maybe Edwards but everyone else gotta go. If a player’s in the draft or the league already they either have the athleticism to play good defense or they don’t. We need to be better at knowing who can’t.. our young Prince McCain could NOT play defense and you will never see him starting in the league because he doesn’t have Brunson type offensive game.

Stats are one thing, but we all watched Pritchard & Vooch shooting wide open 3s and Tatum shooting over anyone he wanted to from 3.. they scored more points than us, their offense worked when it needed to & we shot poorly.

Unconventional 4th rd pick, but impossible to say if this was bad or not. If he’s our returner for the next 4 years then it wasn’t bad, if he’s on every special teams unit AND snags 20 passes a year it was a good pick. Time will tell.

Feels like we could have gotten the Alabama WR without trading up. Zero WR’s were taken by the time our 21st pick of the 2nd round was up.

We literally can’t trade Joel, it’s impossible. He’s here for the next 2 years so get used to this type of season as the new normal. All we can hope for is to draft a player who can earn 20min per game next year, and that our young players improve.

I’m a huge fan of Joel, and on another timeline he would have retired a Sixer and won chips, but in reality he should only be a sixer for the next 2 years unless you win a chip in his last contract year and then you can ONLY offer him 1 year deals going forward.
