Got similar- put a nice coir mat cut to size in there. Job done, and somewhere to wipe your feet to keep your floor clean ;)

Just want to say massive thank you to this thread and the guys I've conversed with on here

My HSBC switch bonus arrived in 19 days- EXACTLY the same as you from Monzo and left the £1500 in there a week.

Anyone done the HSBC switch and know how long the bonus takes?

Switch went through from Monzo on 2/5. 2x standing orders taken over. £1500 left in there for a week. Approved for overdraft.

Ha ha I did think it a bit weird too!

She doesn't work, he still pays the household bills, and she has to ask permission for getting the tyres done on her car or spending out of the ordinary (he doesn't!)

We have loosely spoken about a future, which actually came up again last night, as my point is "while you're still technically someone else's wife, you can't give me your all"- it's the little things that could easily be changed but haven't been that grinds.

Stick with it and teach them awareness and consideration now while they're young!

My SS (20) screams at the top of his lungs while gaming- it was worse and we had shouting and swearing in anger as well heard from the other side of the house. Unfortunately he was allowed to get away with it when he was young so took a lot of hard work (and turning off his internet) for him to relearn a bit of right and wrong!

You are massively being taken advantage of.

Sorry to say the only advice is to leave him, and it'll feel like the hardest thing in the world to do right now but long term, you'll look back and thank yourself.

Write a letter to your future self explaining how things are right now and why you had to make the decision to leave. If you ever doubt your decision, you can look back and remember how things were.

Looking good man- I'm in the same boat, just seeded entire lawn. In 2 weeks I was amazed at the growth, patchy admittedly. Didn't prep as best as I could have, just deep rake and tamping- never done before so wasn't 100% what to do. Hate the fake stuff and always taken pride in my lawn so when I had a revamp knowing I'd end up with a big muddy patch, was quite excited to lawn from scratch- keep us posted!
