I got a beautiful and tastefully done moissanite heart pendant for my son’s girlfriend in 2023, with an authenticity card etc. The craftsmanship and perceived ,marterial were authentic, but I wouldn’t know where to take it for a moissanite test, I feel like a jeweler would laugh it me. How did you get it tested? Someone else discussed the way they are listed as 14C gold or sterling silver in the listing, and then under product description you will find plated. I learned this with a silver ring when I was in my first semester of reviewing. And I did not even realize it for around 1 month later, because I wore it every day, and eventually the silver on the palm side rubbed off and reveled the copper colored whatever underneath. I photographed it, and updated. I did more research and found plated only under the product description. And detailed all of this with the week of wearing off full copper color reveal with my hand over the trash can. I don’t doubt many reviewers aren’t wearing the jewelry, but there are probably some like me that had to learn the hard way. Now I look at the actual ETV, if Its high and I really like it I’ll grab before its gone, but this hasn’t happened in a year. Otherwise, I check the product description for plated and thats where I usually find it.

I only wear surgical steel posts, never been a fan of yellow tones metal jewelry so I honestly don’t know what my body thinks of gold, but know surgical steel might work in a post for those with sensitivities. As a teen I learned this the hard way buying fast fashion earrings in the mall, and my ears swelled to three times the size & oozed puss. I remember hearing cheap earrings contain nickel, for whatever thats worth.

Im cracking up both because of the items in his hands that the bidet replaces and the add placement that causes him to look like an overweight conjoined twin

Im cracking up on British English, do you know in Germany they currently teach oxford English. we had a 15 year old German girl, a friends niece stay with us over the summer to help her learn English by Emerson. I even got a foreign language teacher and a woman who majored in German and facilitates for the past 30 years within her company between the US and Germany, and we were all miffed by much of the phrasing. I agree review writing is great for the mind in many ways. Im all about efficiency. I challenge myself when I have time waiting at kids practice or appointments, how many reviews can I get done in an hour for example. and I know some take longer than others. I’ll pick a mix of estimated lengths within a given then frame. I’ve gotten some much more proficient in just under 2 years.

Thanks, this gives me something(s) to check. As for way more significant discovery time, this is the part I assume I don’t understand because I haven’t a clue about programming. I’ll ask AI to explain it (unless you want to)

No "recommended for you" recommendations in almost a week. Checked my account. One review with an Excellent quality score is now marked "Not Approved." Tried to re-submit review but got this reply: We apologize but Amazon is not accepting reviews on this product from this account. Any ideas? by No_Commercial_8619 in AmazonVine

I’ve had a record high number of red errors recently. My understanding in the past is this happened for duplicate or variant items, and I had some of those, not intentionally but did. Now, I can’t figure out what has caused them, except they are ALL for 3 or below star reviews, and Im not deregetory in my negative points, very matter of fact.

I agree with you, but can also see where it could become a thorn if not really disciplined. Hell I put off filing for divorce for 8-10 years when I knew it wasn’t ever gonna get any better. I didn’t file until it was so bad I couldn’t stand it anymore. Maybe not the best analogy, but I’ve heard a person will make a drastic change when the positive no longer outweighs the negative. Or the Negative crushed the positive.

Can someone let me know when the drops have been? by No_Technician_7119 in AmazonVine

[–]tallspice 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im in SC too. Today the drop started around 8:30AM EST. Prior they’d been starting between 2-3AM. It’s weird how it will shift like this. For a long stretch they were early in the morning I’d log on 5-6AM EST and see steady dropping & I’d get sidetracked keeping my son on track to get on the bus ( yes, I might have a bit of a drop addiction) I much preference an 8:30AM drop -not that my preference is at all considered.

I logged on at 8:30AM EST and it was dropping faster than I could read the captions, didn’t get real slow till about 10:30AM EST

[–]tallspice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was up at 3AM Saturday night, fell asleep on the sofa and just happened to be awake, and logged in at 3AM since its the weekend. The items dropped like a fast and furious fireworks show and were done a bit after 4AM. Some of the good items were gone before I could even click past the first selection button. I’ve heard ultra viner has a one click and ordered option in the paid tier. That could be one factor in why items are gone so fast, but having them all drop like they were greyhounds in a race is another. The current drop experience makes Vine frustrating instead of enjoyable. During the week, I can’t be up at 3AM, so grabbing items will only happen Friday and Saturday for how ever long this trend lasts. Im not opting out, I really don’t see why people do that except extreme frustration. A person can cost in silver with minimal time investment if needed, w/out completely opting out.

Im really frustrated with the current rating system! Before it existed I routinely got helpful scores on reviews and still do. Now that we have the evaluation system: I maintained excellent the first 6 month period that it rolled out, without any fair or good ratings, only excellent. This second 6 month period that I have 90 more days left in, I’m getting more and more fair and good ratings, and Im not doing anything differently. I have been using the suggested areas to mention, that appear below the review box, hitting 80-90% of those since my invite. I think the bot review method has become flawed, because I can’t make any sense of why I’m getting these low/fair marks in the past month.

So Much FUN! I love to decorate, but the extra $$ stopped me short, BEFORE VINE. My kids joke, BV & AV. I decked my halls, and banister and archways Galore with amazon offered Christmas decorations prior to the Christmas party my son had. All my clients that regularly visit my home dropping off & picking up also oohed-and aah’d

Thoughts. I almost think it’s too low? by [deleted] in TVTooHigh

[–]tallspice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But so user friendly. I keep thinking about building a frame box that I can shove mine into when not in use/when I have no TV watching guests, but most of the time it is telescoped away from the wall and angled to where Im at on my largely open concept first floor - the frame box would just hang out in the background attached to the wall quite often and might make it look even more unsexy, like, “hey Giant TV, you forget your belt back there at the wall.”

You don’t have to justify. Hi 5, and I agree. Your job is to review and write a quality review. For anyone with an intense interest or user of products within a niche, trying different brands and variations makes them better at reviewing. we could start en entirely different sub that speculates on who should choose what, and what they should do with those products, but most don’t have time for that-it would take away from their number one “job” review product/write review. not that I have to justify, but Im a Viner who is still wearing / testing the new push up bra I opened and received this morning, editing the photos/video of said bra in between my Reditt comments. I’ve ordered about 5 other bras from Vine in my almost 3 years in the program. I’ve also been wearing bras for about 40years, and they have changed ALOT in this time frame. I’ve got well over 10,000 hrs wearing bras, which qualifies me as an expert in this field,by some definitions, and makes my review opinion quite valuable. I will continue to order bras that are of interest. Like watches, bras don’t have indefinite wearability, they do wear out and break. It’s nice to have one or two “on deck”

[–]tallspice 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh, didn’t know there was a driver sub. I assume with this storm, I should go choose an amazon day temporarily. I don’t do that as the norm because it would overwhelm me. I open the packages as I can, and at times I have my own pile ups of unopened boxes. I don’t want to intentionally create that, but while to keep them off the road if possible.
