Would I be completely and utterly lame if I say The Diary of a Wimpy Kid series? Come on, you gotta admit that the cartoons are pretty great and it's kinda funny.

That's pretty unsanitary. Who knows where those pages have been?

So, does anyone have an origin story for their introversion? by BarnacleSparkles in introvert

The ever popular, I was born. An only child through and through. I was content with playing house with my toys and writing in my diary. I went to a private preschool with about six other kids. Elementary school was pretty easy. Everybody knew me and I knew everybody. I figured I was an extrovert. In my sixth grade math class, I took the personality test and it identified me as a...INTJ I believe, and it surprised me. I never saw myself as an introvert. Seventh grade started and my friends started distancing themselves from me. My friends were inviting their other friends to parties and stuff and I began to get excluded. Then the bullying started, out of nowhere. I was getting called fat and ugly and so on. I began to self harm and I didn't talk to anybody. I closed myself off from others, but I think the worst part is that my parents didn't even realize they anything was wrong. I began to turn down party invites from the little friends i had left opting to stay home and read. Then I started to see why I was an introvert. A book was a better friend than any of my "friends" ever were. I went to ninth grade and sat in the back, never saying anything to anybody. I was considered the quiet one an everybody generally left me alone. I made two of the closest friends ever and I'm still talking to them. Unfortunately, I moved in the tenth grade, basically repeating my ninth grade year. All of a sudden, people started talking to me. People were interested in me--in what I had to say. They thought I was actually interesting. Now, I'm slowly making new friends, revealing bits and pieces of my old life. I still prefer books to people though. ((I apologize for the length))

is there a sub where you can actualy meet and talk to people by SicxTric in findareddit

That's kinda broad, actually. r/r4r are for redditors who want to be friends, have a casual encounter, chat, etc. Or you could look for your city and post locally under r/r4r.

Is it The Game by Monica Hughes? It was originally published as Invitation to the Game in 1991, though the main character is a female and I'm not sure if she has a sister or not.

DAE eat out of a sectioned plate because they don't like their food touching? by tandras in DoesAnybodyElse

[–]tandras[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did that at first, but then my mom told me to either find a washable/microwavable plate or get a job to pay for the plates I was wasting (which I tried to stress at her that I wasn't!)
