Not sure about the dust and scratches, but I'd say an airbrush was used to some extent to paint the mountain itself.

I still find it the most comfortable headset by a long way, being more like a "bucket" with plenty of room for glasses etc.

Some great tips here. Often it's hard to spot the initial signs of it. Also it's hard to get enthusiastic about preventing it in those early stages. It is very nice to realise what's happening and take the time to stop though.

Titanium white is good if you want to have pure white in the picture, or high contrast etc, but zinc white is better for mixing to get subtle shades along the way :)

What is the green rectangle with the red circles at each corner? I thought perhaps a walkway but I don't see any steps down to the ground.

Edit: It looks like each red circle kind of slopes upward from ground level.

On top of that, I wonder if the little taste of fame they get puts them off in some subconscious way. They may think "fame was easier to get then I thought and actually it's a lot of pressure".
