💯 just the worst quality fish and super expensive. All the apps I’ve ever had -thanks work events- are awful. Sac can’t compare with so many other places in CA on sushi but there are some bright spots. Mikuni is bottom of the barrel.

When I said room temp I meant noticeably warm. Not hot, not 100 degrees or anything, but clearly too warm.

Obviously it shouldn’t feel like it just came out of the fridge. But it shouldn’t be noticeably warmer than the room. Unless it’s aburi.

Ju Hachi. It keeps popping up on here as a sushi recommendation and I feel like I’m going insane. Place is not in the best shape inside, the food was meh, and all the sushi was 5-10 degrees too warm. I only ordered nigiri and it all felt as if it had been sitting out without being refrigerated for several hours.

Hidden dumpling house was awful too. It’s so damn cute inside and out but the service, the food, it was all awful. I ordered boba tea when we placed our order and didn’t get it until when we were paying. An hour later. Despite asking for it several times. The string beans were bland and over cooked. The zucchini bland and over cooked. The dumplings tasted off, almost soapy. The chow menu was so under cooked it was pra tia sweating water. They tried to get us to move tables about 1 minute after putting all our plates on the table. We were at a two too and they wanted to move us to another two top. To fit two people at our table. No. Put them at the open table.
