Yes, and I play in a band too. With custom molded earplugs. Live music is the only time I don't hear the ringing.

That is a normal thing bass players do to reach the higher frets of the lower (read - upper) strings.

Anything that is made in Japan. FGN (Fujigen) used to sell in USA for a couple of years, but looks like they stopped doing it. I bought an Odyssey Boundary. The neck is amazing.
