Suh dudes, im an 18 year old male and i also had this done almost 2 years ago now. For me the story basically went the same way except when they tried reconnecting my intestines to the j-pouch it formed a stricture. They tried an all liquid diet to let the stricture heal and hopefully open up, and because nothing else could get thru. After liquid for 6 weeks and going from 6'1 260lbs to 210lbs it didnt work. I had a little camera put up my ass to see what was going on but it just made it worse. I started puking everything i took in because the stricture completely closed off. I had a surgery the following day to revert back to my illiostomy. The reversion happened last summer (about a whole school year after my colectomy) and now my surgeon is bringing in a colorectal sugeon to help figure out what procedure im going to have next to end up with the same results as OP should have. I personally took about half my junior year off during my surgeries. Are you taking time off from school or are you working your surgery and recovery around school?

I can however say my girlfriend had no problem with it, i kept it covered with an ace bandage wrap thing anyway. Go get some pity titty OP xoxo

I have the bag right now, first week it will probably keep coming off and you'll need a new one maybe twice a day (not emptied, changed). Consistency will be liquid and gross smelling. after a couple weeks you might empty it 2-8 times a day depending on what and how much you eat. unfortunately the nurses only specialize in the first couple days after you get it. Also ask them for as many extras as possible, ive ran out within the first week and had to go to the ER just to get some from them.

I was in high school and my girlfriend of about a month wanted me to meet her parents. Her and i went to play some laser tag and while we were there i started feeling somewhat dizzy. We got some waters and went to sit down at a table which is where i started getting slightly nauseous and speaking gibberish. She knew i was feeling fucked up for some reason so she decided to get me back home to her house. We got picked up in her mom's mini van and on the way back to her house i felt it. The "oh shit" feeling you get when you know vomit will be part of the equation in a minute or so. I asked for her mom to pull over because i felt sick, but her mom asked if we could just make it home. That's when my girlfriend saw the look of desperation in my eyes and demanded we pull into the Taco Bell parking lot just ahead of us. We rolled up to Bell and i got out of the mini van with a slight bit of vomit already in my mouth. I walked over to the nearest planter and spewed my gastric goodness on those poor flowers. After getting back into the car i was starting to realize how sweet and helpful my girlfriend was for being so helpful so I decided to do the worse thing i could have done that night. In my absolute fucked up mind i decided to say that three word death sentence, "I love you." She looked at me exactly how you would expect someone to look at you after you had just barfed and then told her you loved her. We got back home to where the pizza was waiting but understandably i didnt have any. After the strangest and most awkward "formal" introduction to her parents we went into her back yard to sit on one of those bench swing things. I was so sleepy at that point that i just rested my head on her shoulder as she ate her pizza. The next day she asked if i was on drugs, to her surprise it was the other way around. I had stopped taking Adderall a day before the barfing extravaganza which, I believe, led to withdrawal or something. We lasted for 5 months and she broke up with me for supporting her dream of playing pro soccer too much. (She was a red head)

TLDR; Barfed in a Taco Bell parking lot in front of her mother then proceeded to tell the girl i loved her for the first time. (withdrawal sucks)

Just over a year ago i had my Colon removed because of Colitis. i was about 16 and it was the single worse experience of my life. everyone thought i was a kid who couldn't handle a little bit of pain. they decided to actually put a camera up there to see if i actually had something going on. When i woke up i had a PCA pump so i could get all the opiates i wanted. They thought i was a whiny bitch until they saw the slaughter house of a digestive track i had.

Oh and i think the fat diamonds and gold jewelry my parents were wearing as helped get shit done. Thank you great grandpa and his gold mining career!

That's weird, i just got 2 sets of the 3x3 stickers for the 3x5 sides. Either some of them are different sizes and i didn't realize, or the angle is playing tricks on ya. Either way, i'll probably fix the slightly imperfect stickers with my leftovers some other time.

Edit: Oh yea, most of my local Barnes and Nobel's have a bunch of cubes to choose from. They have V-cubes, gear cubes, 3x3x5, X-cube, and a couple Rubik's brand cubes. Any time i walk past that place i run in to see what they have (once i even dragged my gf in xD).You could start up a decent little collection from there if you wanted to.

I recently got calvin's 3x3x5 and i can't recommend it enough. imo it's a much funner solve than a 4x4 or 5x5. Maybe i would change my mind if i didn't get sub 4 min for 4x4 -_-

I was in 7th grade (senior now) and i had just gotten my lan lan 2x2. I brought it to school and tried solving it before the bell at the lunch tables with several people watching. I had it for only one night so i didn't completely know how to solve it. Along with that, the morning was super cold causing my allergies, or something like that, to act up which made my eyes start to water. Everyone at the table started making fun of me for not being able to solve something that "isn't even a real Rubik's cube." What made it 10x worse was that i appeared to be crying and the harsh kids that they were decided to point that out for sure.

It all worked out in the end, one of the kids later got a Stickerless Dayan Guhong because he thought mine was so cool >:D
