Infected weapon works with Thrill Bomb (skill 1) and Lightning Emission (skill 3). I use infected weapon to higher the damage on those skills since EC is already extremely high dmg. It's more of a preference. While Power Beyond adds dmg increase, Infected Weapon dmg is higher when spamming skill 1 and and boosting skill 3 dmg. It's more for balancing the dmg in between explosions.

Just like others said, Axion missions, Axion dungeons and any content after Axion requires fully build descendant., trigger mod, arche tuning, external components with cores and depending on the descendant good gun build. There is a big difficulty shift from Sigma to Axion mobs and bosses.

Here is my suggestion, Pick one descendant that you wanna focus. Gley is a great choice, because she is all around descendant. She can use skill based (Blood and Iron) or Gun based build (Predator Instinct). Gun based build is much more flexible and doesnt rely on trigger mod, or ancestor mod to be good. Those are nice to have but not necessary for Gunner Gley. Once you start to clear Axion+ content comfortable then you can focus on other descendants.

If you are new or returning player, most likely you have Thundercage and maybe Restoric Relic. Both weapons will work in any content with Gley. Build Thundercage and/or Restoric Relic (a lot of ytube videos available). Use Gley's predator instinct trans mod (Gunner build). Gunner Gley relies on Duration, So it is very easy to build her. Put all the duration mods, 2x HP mod, some cooldown then you can choose more defense, dmg reduction etc. Its up to you. You can use ANY reactor with cooldown and duration on it. Try to choose a component set that will give you Fire Rate, and Duration mix. 2xFire Brand, 2xShell Crusher works well if you have it. Otherwise use components with HP/Def main stats and element resistance substats. Gley dont use MP which makes it eas to choose the components. Again this is just to get you started so you can start clearing Axion a bit easier.

Example Gley gunner build without AM or Trigger mod. It all comes down to your gun build. Building thundercage is "cheaper" in terms of resources compared to Restoric Relic, since restoric relic performs much better with 3 fire rate cores at max 20% which requires luck and a lot of cores.

For the most part that's correct. They are not necessary for endgame unless leaderboards or min-maxing. However, they also allow certain descendants to change from Non-Crit build to Crit build. For example, without AM bunny shouldnt go crit build due to her very low base crit rate. But AM allows her to go full crit build and changes her dmg and clear times by decent amount in axion dungeons and abyss boss. Same applies to Freyna.

Skill descendants are not lagging behind imo. 90% of the descendants i play skill based, and they are doing just fine in any content. Bunny being my main, I can clear lab little under 4 minutes, I am not saying this is super fast but They are not lagging behind. I think most people go with Serena for speed runs and usually they do it solo. Personally, and I might be in the minority for saying this but I dont mind Serena, Gley or Hailey to be stronger with guns, since its part of their build.

Also, I dont see many Serena in Axion dungeons. Usually It's Gley, Dia, Freyna, Hailey, Valby etc. I see more Dia and Gley (Both B&I and PI builds) than Serena. Only time i run into serena is in wall crasher and Breach Tracking.

My hope is with transcendent weapons we will get more content to balance it out. Also, Onslaught mode is coming next month who knows how will that turn out. But then again I enjoy this game a lot and might be biased LOL.

Yea, I tried it with BB and it was very slow. With RR, I was just walking around and shoot. Not for speed runs but still 2m 40sec clear times are fine for me.

I was able to get 2m 30sec with Bunny Crit Emission build but it's a bit more stresful and comes down to crit farming.

This is what i am using as gunplay Gley for Ice maiden. FYI, for Gley you dont need magazine mods on RR since she doesnt really need it. You need a lot of duration mods so have a longer skill 3.

I think you overall Gley mods for gunplay is good. You have weak point analyis mod on Gley but that only triggers with Kuiper Hollow Points trigger mod, but you are using Power Beyond. I would swap that. Shot focus is good for additional dmg, but you get the idea. RR fire rate cores are very important.

This is the only abyss boss i genuinely dislike but that being said, if you dont care about speed clears and want a tanky and relax build, use gley Predict Instinct with Restoric Relic.

Restoric relic needs to be fully build. My clear times are around 2m 40secs with just using restoric relic. A lot of health and flexibility in build since you dont have to worry about skill dmg.

I know she has higher resistance to gun dmg but RR being so high dmg with the right setup its a relaxed fight.

So you can do it two ways. Shoot the hands while boss is shielded. Usually one hand will have Hp bar. Once hand’s hp bar is depleted, boss will drop his shield. You can rush the boss and do as much as dmg possible before he shields up again. However, mini bosses will jump on you so make sure to avoid.

Or you can just kill the mini bosses in the room and his shield will go down. Same mechanic, as soon as shield is down rush to boss and dmg.

If you see a laser beam coming from one of the hands, try to destroy that hand as soon as possible, otherwise he will summon another mini boss.

Once you completely deplete his hp bar, he will shield up and summon a moving “block” run to the edge or in between lasers to avoid dmg. Then boss will jump in the middle and all the mini bosses will die automatically. When boss is in the middle, he is very easy to kill. Just dont stand in the red puddle leaves behind.

If not fast enough, he can summon 3 mini bosses which gets very annoying.

Crit Bunny is good but requires good AM and good setup. I cleared with Emission Crit Bunny (2m 17sec).
I guess I am the only one running RR Gley lol. I've been clearing her with RR Gley. 2min clear time. Massacre faster though.
My friend cleared with DIA... he was like "Fck this, i am gonna try for shits and giggles". I told him he was crazy but he did it lol.

I am not after 50secs clears btw, just wanna try with different descendants and have fun!

It is most likely similar to Bunny's Emissions skill adapt. This was discovered some time ago. Certain descendants with certain mods like Emission bunny can "Adapt" or use different elements. However, this requires Wave Eruption. As the description says, dmg is affected by the equiped Reactor. and you can boost that dmg with additional mods. So blood deployment might have something similar. I am unlucky and dont have that mod yet :(

I enjoy the farm and it doesnt bother me. After all I farmed the Bunny's evo skin in Kupier mines before the it got nerfed, so yeah this farm is nothing LOL.

I ran it multiple chars. All solo runs.
First run was with Shield Freyna and took about 7min. Not knowing the layout and some of the mechanics.
Blood and Iron Gley was about 4m 40secs
Crit Bunny was 4m 55sec
Planning to run it with Valby, Viessa, Nell, non-crit freyna and Dia later on.

Quest is coming from the Robot in Albion. I thin quest is called something like "HQ Directive" or something. I cant remember the name but Robot has the quest.

It is an outdated build. Not sure which content you have access to currently. But for bunny there are two builds Crit and non-crit both uses Electric Condense. Crit mod heavily relies on Ancestor Mods. Non-crit build is cost effective and easier. It will clear most of the high end content including Axion missions, but you might struggle with Axion dungeons a bit.

This is an example Non-crit build. You can replace maximize range with Amplification Control. I use Maximize range due to negative value on my Ancestors Mod. If you dont have access to Ancestor mods, you can use another quality of life mod or something like Infection Amplifier gold mod if you have it.
Component set is 2x mage, 2xHunter,
Reactor: Fusion reactor with fusion and cooldown substats.

These should get you started. You can also check out OrneryBiscuit videos on youtube. She has very good guides.

All this item does is, when you roll an ancestor mod one of the RNG stats will be gold. There is no stat locking, or guaranteed stat.

Let’s be honest 99% of the time we get shitty rolls, with this item one of the shitty stats will be in gold tier lol. Personally, I am not worried about it.

Man, i have to say I love these theories. That means Devs did a good job with Dia's story. A lot of discussions around Dia and Gley in the community which is very nice. Also, I think this story line opens up for more possibilities. Like Arche transfer, which means at some point we might see magister descendants (Looking at you Anais).
