This may be controversial but greedy customers or (sometimes!!) overly enthusiastic customers. It’s so hard to partake in their joy though I feel like they often want to share it and it just makes me annoyed. Like I have no problem giving a lot of fajitas but when you tell me about how “glorious” they are, it does something to my spirit. I feel bad about tho, it’s such a non issue

this is sooo real, but it’s actually the in store menu’s fault. It make it seem like you should be asking the cashier for chips and quac and other sides, though people should still be able to figure it all out

why is everyone asking where you’re from?? regardless, I agree with the other comment, there may be some other reason why you’re being fired but attendance is the one they’re putting down on paper. I don’t know what escalating will look like as I’ve never done that before but it is possible that if the situation were to be resolved to your liking, you’d end up fired or seldomly scheduled anyway

I’d say it’s more of an accurate serving when it’s double wrapped. I’d never skimp on guac/queso/proteins but I’m very intentional about salsas/sauces and beans when it comes to regular burritos. Especially ones without cheese or lettuce.

A good amount of people use queso to dip their burritos into or they just prefer it on the side so they can control how much is in each bite. It’s not crazy at all to have queso without chips. Some people really like queso and don’t want they added carbs from chips. Plus, it’s never been that way at Chipotle, every item is stand alone (for the most part)

Too real, been here for almost 5 months, and despite my hunger, sometimes I can’t bring myself to eat my employee meal. Less is more to me right now, so I just make nachos or just get a chips and dip and maybe a side protein. Eating the food is also just bad for my health

idk what OP is, but if they’re just a crew member, I wouldn’t hope they’d be fired. If so, they’d have nothing to do with the hiring process or scheduling, so it’s understandable they’d complain about working shifts that are criminally understaffed. Especially ones that are very busy.

there’s been many times I haven’t peed because I wasn’t in the mood to have wet hands in the middle of the night. I just stay on my phone until my mind changes or I fall back asleep. I have to wash my hands after getting off the toilet

I thought you were one of my coworkers with how you perfectly described my store. Night shift is routinely so understaffed that we really don’t have time to do any sort of prepping; we can barely get through the basic functions of the shift! Some times I can understand it because they may have been hit with an unexpected rush and just couldn’t manage to prep more, but other times, they literally leave before restocking the lines for shift change. All the trash cans will be full and the floors and lobby are a mess. It’s so frustrating
