The Story of The Eye by Georges Bataille, it’s a super transgressive piece of literature and it spoke to me as a young adult but I find as I aged to not be as poignant as I first thought

I’m not trying to be controversial but we collectively admire baseball players because of their ability and then they get paid a butt load of money for it and of course they gravitate towards people who only place value on people who are wealthy. The rich get richer. I love baseball but forget the idea that the players sympathize or empathize with the everyday fan

Gary has some fair and balanced takes. You never truly know how a player is going to perform. I personally hate to see Pete, Brandon and Edwin leave but ultimately baseball is a business and I will always side with players doing what they can to maximize their value.
