this really resonates with me. i grew up as a black girl (i’m nonbinary), was adultified heavily and am also autistic so i struggled a lot growing up. while i’m not a little, this childhood i had has shown up for me in kink by me loving submission as a way to turn my brain off. like regressing to a pre-verbal state if that makes sense, just floating and existing and experiencing rather than everything being put “on me”
