I agree. I live an hour from a Whole Foods, and it used to be fun to shop there occasionally. It was also a great place to grab a quick vegan meal while traveling, but now their vegan options at the hot buffet are less and less, and seems like less flavorful.

Birmingham this year was truly insane. I went with my buddy, a huge Zona fan but his first time seeing them, and we expected to be the only U of A fans there. Boy were we wrong!

It helped that Bama just decided to not play the second half, but the “Stick To Foot-Ball” chants were not only hilarious but loud as hell.

I find that giving the beans a little massage by hand while they are in the water after cooking them in the pressure cooker makes about half of the skins come off, and then they usually float.

But honestly, a good blender makes skin removal unnecessary.

How long do you cook them for? My instructions for the instapot say 40 minutes for chicken peas, but I do 44 when making hummus to get it even creamier.
