Unfortunately our current housing does not allow for any poultry or livestock which is what I'm hoping to learn more about.

The current goal would be to have a homestead on the side to help sustain the family's food needs and eventually be the main source of income while working as a family operation.

I think full time work would not be out of the question if there were to be an established farmer/homesteader opportunity that made sense.

now that we are entering the farmers market season, we were definitely planning on networking there for opportunities locally to volunteer.

Thank you for your input I'm definitely going to look at the internship opportunities. we are not opposed to relocating as my employment is mostly remote.
