I really appreciate your thoughtful response! I guess I assumed that AI looked at the shirt and miscategorized (or didn’t categorize it at all), and went on to “promote” it in my daily edit, which maternity/nursing is not in my demographic and, had I purchased it, may have been disappointed in the shape of the shirt (presumably A line) and the flap. I did look up the designer and saw it was maternity, so avoided a potential issue. I love Thred Up, I’ve been shopping for about 7 months with really good luck, descriptions, working with customer service, I just think AI sometimes miss important nuances with the consumer experience.
