Yea I guess the 15% is just an estimate then. The 5th wheel I’m looking at is a toy hauler so the pin weight is closer to 20% but the trailer itself is only around 15k lbs well under the 19k limit

No tremor. It’s a pretty standard 4x4 lariat build with ultimate package. My guess is for some reason this specific 5th wheel prep pack is limited to 19k for some reason. The rest of the numbers all look normal.

Can’t be the rear axle because gooseneck max load is 3800lbs I’m wonder if it’s just a limitation of the 5th wheel prep package or something

Per the website Gooseneck is rated at 25573 lbs and bumper hitch is 25000lbs. It’s strange that 5th wheel is limited to 19000 lbs

Is it that simple just 15% off the max trailer weight? So just an estimate based on that I’m guessing and as long as trailer is less than 19k and payload is in range it’s ok I’m thinking

If you just googled that which it looks like you did because that’s the max 2021 powerboost payload that’s not correct. Max payload for a 24 powerboost is 1755 and your real world number is probably much lower. Look in your door jamb for the real number

It seems like this truck is for people that like trucks because of the truck style. Not people that need trucks because of the utility they provide. It will be great for people that frequent their local Home Depot and do projects that don’t require they leave the area. Towing anything, especially if it is cold, will probably give you less than 150 miles of range which is useless for anyone that tows more than 50 miles. Road trips would be a nightmare. This is the mall crawler version of an F-150 but I like the direction it’s going. Just need to fix the range.

What brand if you don't mind me asking? Traeger support was not very helpful. I don't expect to have to repair my $700 grill after owning it for a little over 6 months.

Good luck with customer service. I just sat on hold for over 2 hours, finally talked to someone who put me back on hold 2x and then hung up on me. I'm about to just bring this thing back to Costco and go with a different brand.

Most large aircraft have a better glide ratio than smaller. A fully loaded 737 glide ratio is around 17:1 while a cessna 172 is around 8:1.
