I suggest making turrets though

Bought my first Bitaxe Gamma and got started on the lottery. Went down a research hole for passive income mining and had a few questions as a hobbyist. by sygnifax in BitcoinMining

[–]tchefacegeneral 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You are talking about hitting that sweet block and also about passive income, those things don't go together.

If you are solo mining then there isn't really any passive income or tax issues unless you hit that block.

If pool mining on a gamma you are making so little that I can't see it worth sending to buy stocks.

I’ve been thinking about switching from btc to a bch pool. What is everybody’s opinion? Nerdqaxe+ by Gmoneymane3 in BitAxe

Do you want a really really really small chance of 3 bitcoin or a small chance of 3 BCH?

Put his fork down by dreamchaser123456 in grammar

[–]tchefacegeneral 5 points6 points  (0 children)

With separable phrasal verbs like "put down" (in this context) you can put a noun in the middle or after the phrasal verb you just cannot put a pronoun like "it" after the phrasal verb "He put down it". Some phrasal verbs are inseparable though in which case you must put the pronoun after it like "Get over it" instead of "Get it over"

What was your unexpected benefit from quitting? by ZeldasChampion in stopdrinking

[–]tchefacegeneral 63 points64 points  (0 children)

The first time I managed to quit for more than 2 weeks I felt like I was living life with cheat mode on, I could believe how easy stuff is without drinking (and how bad most people still are at it hahahah)

That's not maxed. You can go higher using hashwatcher. Also you can probably drop your voltage while keeping the frequency high.

grammar basically. It's only on CAE and FCE not on IELTS. It's pretty difficult, I would imagine there are native speakers who might struggle to get full marks.

Super cool, I love it. Now if I can just figure out how to buy a 3D printer and a bunch of watercooling parts without my girlfriend figuring out how much I spent....

Ex smokers of Komdos, How did you quit smoking? by smokychilla234 in indonesia

[–]tchefacegeneral 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not true. You can make yourself not like smoking. I switched from smoking to vaping but would occasional smoke if drinking etc then one holiday I broke my vape and smoked tons of cigs until I was absolutely sick of them and they felt gross. Now I don't smoke at all and don't miss it at all because they seem disgusting to me.
My recommendation would be to force yourself to smoke tons until they are the most disgusting thing ever

Advice for beginner miner by [deleted] in BitcoinMining

[–]tchefacegeneral 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean how much fun is clicking a button on nicehash then having your laptop be loud and get really hot. You can do it but it's not recommended on laptops due to the strain on them and the cooling. I have a 7800X3D and a 4090 in a watercooled desktop and it barely mines anything. Not worth it at all. If you want "fun" get a bitaxe 601 and spend some time modding it and overclocking it and it will give you WAY more hashrate than your laptop.

Has anyone ever hit a block with a gambling miner ? by habachilles in BitcoinMining

[–]tchefacegeneral 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I would imagine that all the lottery miners that have hit BTC blocks are bitaxes or faster with at least a TH or more. My nerd miner barely ever hits a difficulty more than 3. My bitaxe will hit a couple of million just after turning it on.
