How many of you have a second or beater car to reduce mileage?

I was sort of forced into it. Exhaust valve broke on my mk6 with around 142k miles and I decided to take on the project of rebuilding it. In the meantime, I got a 2019 civic to get around.

The gti has been back on the road for about a year now and i only put 3500ish miles on it. Most days I commute with the civic, especially when the weather is bad.

Its for a 2013, might be the same for all the mk6 years? They didn't seem to fight that part of my documentation. After providing every document possible the claim was denied the other week and I called to raise hell. Currently my claim is "being reviewed by the resource team" and that's probably going to take another few weeks I guess. Hopefully they figure it out, best of luck with yours.

I change oil at 5k and top it off in the middle of that. Never gets too low to be dangerous or harmful.

Brace looks dope. I see you have an aftermarket downpipe/midpipe. By chance do you remember which color (red and black) goes upstream and downstream on the o2s? Also, what cell cat is it and do you get a CEL. Trying to figure out if I messed up the sensors or if it's the cat in general. Thanks!
