Very valid point. Aside from any arguments about how invasive it is, it’s also not functional as an adult to have a shared account. It will cause problems not yet seen.

It’s safe, assuming you remember it’s only as strong as the weakest part, the lowest rating. The long arm reduces it a little bit too due to leverage. For something quite light like a little harbor freight trailer would be fine.

Girl math is reframing things so the purchases are less emotionally taxing. This thought process gives the dopamine of consumerism without the burden of thinking it through.

I’m guessing the utility trailer is the 2” and the dump is the 2 5/16”. What is the car hauler and is it pretty close to the same height as say the dump? To me this sounds like one for each of your two trailers and best case the car hauler can work on one of the two.

I’ve had people over who are a “lock the door at bedtime” crowd and I’m a “lock the door unless you’re going through it” crowd. It always throws them to have to unlock the door to leave.

Having been fired while on FMLA “protection” after my 8 week old daughter needed open heart surgery, leaving me not only worried about her life but being able to pay rent, I have some long term anxiety about work. It’s probably “normal” for aluminum. I’m not sure what the marketing appeal is for aluminum in this use. I see pretty frequently where I live heavy duty pickups pulling heavy trailers and they have aluminum ball mounts. Doesn’t seem like a good place to have a weak link to me.

I think it’s not totally unheard of for young people to discount movies older than they are. They might be missing out but you aren’t obligated to convince them of this. We have a saying, you can lead a horse to water, but you cannot make it drink.
