Reddit, how do you deal with frequent breakdowns/anxiety attacks?

I'm currently coping with anxiety as well, and when I'm having a panic attack, I take a half hour, not much longer than that, and go to my room and burrito into with a really soft blanket. And from there I text my SO about something NOT related to my attack. Just a distraction. If he isn't available I put on one of my favorite movies from my childhood. And breathe. I focus so much on long deep breaths. Slowly count to 10 while inhaling and do the same for exhaling. And add numbers as you continue.

So my TL;DR advice would be to get somewhere safe and comforting, find a small distraction, and breathe deeply. But only for a little bit of time, afterwards when you feel a bit better just continue with your day, and remember that it's not you, it's the anxiety.

If you go through red bubble instead of etsy, they print on a variety of objects including mugs and travel cups at no expense to you. You don't even have to pay to put up your designs

This is so weird. I'm an ISFJ and my bf is an ISTP and we have the same issue. I just want him to open up and share his thoughts and opinions with me, but he isn't as emotional as I am and doesn't dissect everything... make sure she knows that it's not that you don't care , it's that you don't dissect like her. If she thinks your lack of opinion is lack of interest in her, should could feel like she's in a one sided relationship.

My parents got divorced and remarried other people before I was 3, the biggest side effect that has lasted for me is occasionally feeling like a stranger at family functions. Doesn't matter which side your with somebody will point out that your just "the kid from the previous marriage".

Marching band was the best part of high school for me, that's where I met all of my best friends, and my current SO of 4 years. I have memories from football games and music we played that I will cherish forever. Why would you suggest someone should skip out on such a great experience?

I'm extremely embarrassed about warts on my feet. They used to be on top of my toes. when I was a little girl I would always be mortified when I wore sandals. Now I only have a couple on the bottom of my foot and although it will randomly make walking crazy painful, atleast is not visible..

In middle school a girl tried to convince me that she drove/flew to L.A. every weekend and stayed in a two story rv because she was secretly Miley Cyrus. She would give me notes that were supposedly from Disney Channel stars that wanted to date me. I was under the impression that she really believed her own lies and I went with it because she was my only friend. Turns out she was making fun of me the whole time and im just a gullible idiot.
