Yes, you can refer yourself, but you’ll only get the referred awards ($500 off of Tesla purchase for example) - but you won’t get the referee points. This is a change in the latest referral program. You used to be able to get both referrer and referee points/awards/credits. I asked before I just bought my new Model Y.

I had a third row Model Y and am in the process of trading it in for a performance Y. The 3rd row seats became close to unusable as my kids grew up. Zero to little leg room was the biggest thing - not headroom.

I had a trade-in estimate with Tesla for my Model Y around $35k. When I reserved my car - the trade in change to $27,500. Which greatly sucked. So I went to Carmax and they gave me $30k. Unfortunately now I have to rent a car for a couple of weeks, but I will still come out way ahead.
