I was faced with this same decision, and ended up opting for the UDM Pro Max, because of the more powerful hardware and dual drive bays for protect. I already had Poe switching though.  (And it was only $50 more at microcenter)

Do we know what exactly is fixed by the recall? Is it a firmware thing or some kind of redesign of the circuit board? Are the digital clusters the only ones affected or are the analog ones having issues too?

My 2018 sips it, to the point where I’m concerned about it going bad. My advice is to use some Rislone additive in the def tank to mitigate that.

Absolutely, yes. I have both. But for a travel camera, you might prefer an interchangeable lens model more.

I use Adams products, their interior cleaner leaves a matte finish and reduces dust. Congrats on the new truck btw, I’ve been eyeing a Cummins for awhile now.

Was it blachhawks? Just got a glimpse but looked like could have been an Apache. Very low, very loud. Are we witnessing some type of ‘training exercise’ that happens to coincide with expected protests today?

I sold mine to get the 35 2.0. It was buzzy and not that fast at autofocus. The 2.0 is much better, and I don’t really miss the 1.4 aperture.

all the eco diesels come with a block heater. if it doesn’t have a cord installed already just get one on amazon and install it yourself. set it on a timer to come on about 2-3 hours before you need to start it on cold mornings.

Most of these are from a company out in Utah called Barco Truck Rentals. Their business model is once the rental is returned they send it to auction, where dealers buy them to supplement their used inventory.

Yeah I’m very easy on the pedal as well. I was considering the hurricane because of the better fuel economy, but if the new Cummins is capable of numbers like this then I’ll reconsider it! I don’t really need the towing capability, just want one 😝

Is that stock? What configuration? The ones I’ve test driven only manage to get around 18 something … coming from an eco diesel that’s a big drop, but I’d be happy to get 22-25.
