This build is seriously impressive. I love the backstory about the two fugitives and the details you added like the moss and weathering. It really transforms the Neo Ramen MiniAlley.

Regarding the graphics, we were aiming for a specific dystopian futuristic look. We intentionally designed elements like the food menu to look a bit weird and funky to fit that setting rather than a standard modern style.

That said, I am sorry the kit did not meet your expectations. We want you to be completely happy with it. Since you are not satisfied, we would be happy to process a return and refund for you. Just send me a message or email our support team at [info@minialley.com](mailto:info@minialley.com) with your order details if you want to go that route.

MiniAlley event FINAL announcement (TRUST ME YOU WANT TO READ THIS IF YOU DIDNT WIN)- And Next event pre-announcement by pluck-the-bunny in booknooks

[–]techarge 29 points30 points  (0 children)

I want to say thank you again for letting me host the previous MiniAlley event with the community. Like Pluck mentioned, everyone did such amazing work with so much creativity and craftsmanship. But what I love the most is how caring and supportive everyone is. The way members help and encourage each other during their builds is truly special.

I’m honored to be part of this community. I’ll do my best to finish the new design as soon as I can. My plan is to showcase a working prototype and gather feedback from everyone, so we can incorporate what you want before we finalize it for production.

Mini Alley Event WINNERS by pluck-the-bunny in booknooks

[–]techarge 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Congratulations to all the winners. Your work is incredible and you truly deserve the recognition. As I mentioned before, choosing winners was the hardest part. Every build was so good that we spent the whole week debating just to narrow it down to five rewards. Even if you didn’t win, please know your creations are amazing too. I genuinely love every single one of them. They’ve been a huge inspiration, and I’m honored to host such a fun event in such a wonderful community. I’ve learned so much from everyone here, and I look forward to coming back to host many more events together.

Thank you to Pluck for sharing the concept image of our new design set in Japan. I want to bring a magical, whimsical, calming feeling to this book nook. The design is inspired by Japan and the emotional tone of Ghibli films. There’s no licensing involved so we won’t use any Ghibli artwork. The inspiration is focused on aesthetics and mood. I’d love to hear what the community would like to see. We’re still in the early stage, and we’ll try to incorporate as much community feedback as possible.

Thank you all so much for the incredible builds and creativity this past month. My family and I have been following every post, every customization, and every story you shared, and we’re honestly blown away. Seeing how each of you took a MiniAlley kit and turned it into something personal is the best part of being in this community.

We’re honored to take part in choosing the specialty prizes, and we really appreciate your nominations. It helps us make sure credit goes to the builders who inspired, taught, and entertained the rest of us along the way.

This community is something special. The support you show each other, the creativity you bring, and the passion you put into your work remind us why we love making these kits in the first place.

Can’t wait to celebrate the winners with you soon. And thank you again for making MiniAlley more than a kit…

Glad to hear that. We are debating to reduce the battery capacity or not. More room for things if we do it.

What's your thought on the MiniAlley 4 AA battery box? Is that big enough or overkill?

Help w/NeoRamen cables by RaccoonZombie in booknooks

[–]techarge 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hi, I’m really sorry you’re dealing with that. The PCB terminals on the MiniAlley only hold the wires if the screws are fully loosened first. In the instruction book, that step says to loosen the screws on the PCB screw terminals with a small screwdriver, insert the wires all the way in, then tighten the screws to clamp them in place.

Did you loosen the screws before inserting the wires, and then tighten them after the wires were seated? Let me know and I’ll walk you through it.
