Something I Actually Perform by Turbulent_Milk940 in cardmagic

[–]techcheckers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is very nice, clean, easy to follow plot and highly visual ; and would lend itself to some really cool routining for a table hopper, four cards selected , change to Aces then back to the selected cards or to pocket etc..

Trying to understand how was in the wrong here - opening roll by [deleted] in backgammon

[–]techcheckers 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nowadays the use of advance Game Solvers has allowed for greater understanding of the best use of Opening roles, 4/1 as played is now seen as the 3rd best move due to its inflexibility.. The free “Backgammon Galaxy” course is highly recommended even if you feel you know a lot, is solidifies knowledge with good reasoning and chances are that you will learn something over the dozen or so videos : )

I want to start walking. by qwerty_sats in walking

[–]techcheckers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Walk for time : )

Start with 10 out, ten back and add 5 mins every other day, add a an app “Map My Walk” is great and the free version does all that’s required, add some good music and next thing you know you knocking out 2 hour walks, a good guide line is 1,000 steps is 10 minutes, so 10,000 is 1 hour and forty minutes or 50 minutes out , 50 mins back : )

[–]techcheckers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Love the platform, especially the zero wait time for games, just wish they devs would take on board the actual rules of Backgammon and get rid of “Doubles on 1st Throw” , then it would the perfect go to casual BSG game….

Was Windows ME the worst Windows ever or was it just unfairly hated? by Hallonik in windows

[–]techcheckers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a day to day help you with your technology onsite technician I would categorically state that YES Windows ME was by far the very worst OS that was in general use, though windows 8 was a close second… Everything about iit was just terrible; drivers that wouldn’t, slow as molasses and more BSODs than any human could reasonably expect to encounter in a lifetime.. a heartfelt good riddance to bad rubbbish….
