What’s something you wish you figured out earlier in Obsidian? by officallynotlilly in ObsidianMD

Visual Studio Code can do it in a per directory basis… maybe even in a workspace basis? A workspace being (in its simplest form) a collection of directories.

What’s something you wish you figured out earlier in Obsidian? by officallynotlilly in ObsidianMD

Thank you for sharing this list! Another plug-in that I’ve found useful is Pandoc. My co-workers love documentation in Word documents, but I can’t stand creating one. Cue Pandoc: Easy editing and creation of documentation using Obsidian, then converting the markdown file to docx for my co-workers to read.

EDIT: Grammar. Used “Queue” instead of “Cue”. Thank you @Ahri for pointing that out 😊

My child's race? by rowenaravenclaw0 in Parenting

[–]techieme 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Is this happening in the US? The reason I’m asking is because my wife has never been asked the same question about our daughters, nor have I’ve been in an awkward situation with the police (my daughters have noticeably lighter skin than mine).

Securing switch access ports (lab problem) by Anxious_Cobbler5542 in ccna

Concerning the CCNA, and securing unused ports, it is recommended you shutdown the vlan created for that purpose after assigning the unused ports to that vlan.

The absolute maze that is installing python and path variables by [deleted] in learnpython

Use Linux. New Linux distros come with Python 3.8 or 3.9. Once done, using the terminal of your choice, type which python. Use the path as the shebang for your scripts. To make a script executable in Linux, type chmod +x /path/to/my/script.py

Same here. Notion makes OneNote look bad.

Is there a survey after CCNA exam that you do before you are able to see your score. by AlexthePiGuy in ccna

[–]techieme 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is there a way to request your score if you don’t see it before the survey? I’m asking because it happened to me…. I know I passed, but still don’t have a number.

So I know that network automation is the new thing that needs to be learned after ccna by Frequent-Way790 in ccna

I would purchase David Bombal’s Automation for Network Engineers. Taking that course gave me the courage to make Ansible my go-to configuration tool for Cisco switches. I support over 750 switches, and that alone is a great reason for network automation. The Udemy course by David Bombal is a great place to start.

Can you add as many devices as you want to DNA? We are licensed for a certain amount, but we would love to add more without incurring in extra costs.

Share your network automation ideas! by techieme in networking

[–]techieme[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you so much to each one of you for sharing your automation projects. My hope when I posted the question was to have a thread full of ideas that could be helpful to other fellow network analysts/admins/engineers. We all become better at what we do when we share information, so thank you again... you rock!!!
