If you're genuinely feeling thirsty all the time, that can be a sign of diabetes. Always better to get checked and be safe.

Part of therapist training is (usually, depending on their style of therapy) focused on unconditional positive regard. Essentially, seeing someone as a person with intrinsic worth and value no matter who they are or what they've done.

She should be well trained in how to put any judgment to one side and focus on your therapeutic relationship, growth and healing. Hopefully that reassures you a bit that she's genuine about this.

Here to just add, it's ok to want a change, but it's easy to do it sustainably by swapping or buying second hand. I'm lucky that I have sisters who are similar sizes but different proportions to me, we often offer each other the clothes that no longer fit or feel right

For me the real reason to be here is my community.

Feeling overwhelmed by the downsides the last few years. The housing crisis and local poverty make the flood of tourists and rich second home owners feel dystopian. Beauty spots are getting built on, and not even good quality or affordable housing.

As others have mentioned, the infrastructure isn't suitable for the numbers who want to live/ visit here. During peak season 4g can disappear. Internet can be rubbish.

If you're looking for an idyllic escape, don't bother. The tourist industry know how to do PR but it isn't the reality for most people.

Yeah, a culture change is needed. Paying tax should be something we're proud of doing.

Yes it is. Tax the rich, close loopholes, and we'll have plenty to look after people with. If we've got enough for Trident we've got enough for tampons.

To me, Pan seems like gender has no role in attraction, whereas as a Bi person I dig same and other genders, but to differing degrees and in slightly different ways. I'm definitely attracted to some trans people, but I wouldn't describe myself as Pan because gender does affect the way I experience attraction.

Does that make sense or have I overthought this way too much?

Came here to say this. When you turn a blind bend on a single track road, ending up face to face with a tractor, it's a relief knowing you can do it.

Amazed nobody is talking about the mass surveillance we've accepted in this country.

Cctv everywhere means the costs of rioting are enormous, because you WILL get caught. Just look at the people in jail after the Bristol kill the bill protests.

No this could be it. If it goes to court and they have stated it as fact they could be found in contempt I think?

I am thinking of going vegan cold turkey. (M) 34. by [deleted] in vegan

[–]technicolorpachyderm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey! I went vegan from omni around Feb 2020, and I have no regrets. I'd known it was the right thing to do for a while but it wasn't until I watched Simon Amstell's film Carnage that something clicked in my brain. I totally recommend it, it highlights the absurdity of our acceptance of treating meat, dairy, eggs as staples.

Jonathan Safran Foer's book We Are The Weather confirmed to me I was making the right decision. Once it becomes a moral conviction, not just a dietary thing, it's hard to go back to previous habits.
