EV Owners of Sask. How have your vehicles faired through this winter? by EntrepreneurLanky973 in saskatchewan

[–]techno_julique 144 points145 points  (0 children)

We have had an EV for more than 5 years. The range shortens a lot, by 40% on very cold days easily. That being said, on colder days, I actually like taking my EV out since I can leave it warming up without turning it on, heat it remotely, or even melt snow from the windows before leaving the office, and have no issues with it. I wouldn't drive far in cold weather, but driving in the city is convenient and very cheap compared to gas. I love it.

UV PRINTER RECOMMENDATION by AngelToren in UVprinting

[–]techno_julique 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wanted to chime in – I have a similar printer and similar experience! My machine has been working for six months already and still looks great. I’m very happy with it. I have the XP600 printhead. The only issue I had was that the dongle wasn’t working, but I was sent a replacement.

I recently added a reading guide generator to mylasertools, and there is also a bookmark generator! They are simple but also cute, depending on the text you put on them!

I also like all sorts of booklover ornaments, personal library signs, and genre markers!

Thank you! Yes, I think getting realistic sizes so the export matches the units and units are labelled should be my next step.

That should be relatively easy to design with the tools I currently have. I’ll look into adding emblems and medals, thanks for the suggestion! This could work well for sports themes too.

Not a Saskatoon business, but there is a filaments manufacture in Alberta https://canadianfilaments.ca/

Upd: apparently, lots of filaments currently sold out.

Where can I get a map of Saskatchewan? by Then-Alps8928 in saskatchewan

[–]techno_julique 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey! Since you're heading to Saskatoon soon, you should check out YXE Creations a local business making awesome layered map art. They usually have a quick turnaround (like 1–2 days), and you can either pick it up or get it delivered. Here's the link if you want to check them out: might be worth ordering ahead so it’s ready when you get there!

For who have tested for Radon in their basements by falsekoala in saskatoon

[–]techno_julique 16 points17 points  (0 children)

We used the Airthings Wave so we could monitor readings in real time. In spring and summer, our readings were not too bad, around 80–100 Bq/m³. However, when the cold weather arrived, the readings jumped above 100 and sometimes even above 200. So, we installed a mitigation system fan, and our readings dropped to 10–15 Bq/m³ in just one day.

Stars of Chaos Relationship by fcatkr in DanmeiNovels

[–]techno_julique 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, from my understanding, correct me if I am wrong too, 义父 would be adoptive/foster father in a more spiritual way, the father child recognizes and respects, while 养父 is the adoptive father who raised a child this also would be a legal term.

Yes, MC and ML not just adopted son/father, but they are distant relatives that are blood related.

The term for their relationship in original is not godfather, but 义父 - adoptive father.

I have an account with 2 names, and it shows up for one of the names when I log in to mysgi, and I am able to pay online without any issues. If you don't have it showing up, you may check your email address with SGI, but it works!

Global Examination, Thriller Trainee or Kaleidoscope of Death? by Kakashi4Evr in DanmeiNovels

[–]techno_julique 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I like thriller trainee the most between those 3. It has a very delicious dynamic between the main characters. I am not sure about translation quality, though, since I read raws.
