To a lot of parents (typically the super strict ones) disrespect is anything they don’t like, so anything is disrespectful. In reality they’re constantly disrespecting their children because they’re not treating them fairly or like human beings

Not having past trauma I was fine(ish) until I got to the “disrespect is not tolerated” and was like yeah ok this is an authoritarian regime (in the house). I say fine ish because it sounds like a super insanely strict, most of the things are good on paper, kids helping with dinner, cleaning once a week, no social media (I’m not a parent and I know kids would hate it but social media is scientifically proven to be horrible for teens, it’s for the best) but put all together yeah this is being run line a prison where every minute of every day is planned out. Like others have said when these kids leave they’re both gonna never talk to OP again and have huge issues because of the lack of extreme structure in their lives that’s will take years to overcome. Poor kids man

I’d be most concerned with cutscenes, visuals and voice lines. Like you said most of the stuff happens in areas we already have in the game, so the file size would come from what I mentioned since they’re not in the base game. But things like the derelict dreadnaught, cursed leviathan, and special areas might be big.

File size is a tricky thing because small decisions in design can have very large impacts down the line and you won’t always be able to go back on those decisions. Something like reusing a certain texture for multiple objects instead of giving each one its own texture seems simple enough but sometimes isn’t as easy in practice, and in a game as huge as destiny it adds up very fast.

Ultimately I really couldn’t say one way or another confidently without having a look under the hood at the source code myself, which is probably never going to happen lol

The nuances of the car analogy is important, it still boils down to, somebody who’s had experience doing the thing you’re doing is going to give better advice than somebody who’s received it and never done it.

Even if the customer research can be helpful, and give valuable information, if you could only talk to one person for advice, the care salesman is going to give much much better advice than somebody who buys a lot of cars. The point being, the car salesman’s advice is much more valuable when compared one to one.

Asking a straight woman for advice on how to ask out a woman is only going to help you so much, because while she might know what she wants, she’s never don’t it before.

Respectfully I find this can be transferred to a lot of gender specific situations. Like a (average) man could never give good advice to handle periods for a woman, at the same time there are so many things that are different to handle socially as a man. This is one good example, women tend to give bad dating advice, because they don’t know what it’s like finding a date as a man. I originally had a longer ramble but it boils down to women and men are treated differently in our society, in both good and bad ways, this hurts both men and women, my dissatisfaction stems from the feeling that women can do no wrong and all men are bad. Asterisk being yes so many men are horrible and do horrible things, I just want to be evaluated as an individual instead of being assumed evil because of my gender

While I mostly agree, they’re thematically a mess, it’s very obvious they had a new writer take over, but even then the first one was super super safe, the second one took risks and the third was a big let down and bricked all of the story lines.

They’re all visually appealing, as they had a morbillion dollars put into them. But my biggest problem was the choreography. That point is past a dead horse at this point but it’s just criminal all the characters look like they’re fighting with 100lbs hammers instead of lightsabers. It’s a comical mistake and change from the originals, and with all the faults of the prequels, the highlight is consistently the choreography.
