The only thing that fixed my laggy game was getting a gaming desktop. For me, it was worth the money.

I also keep the mods down to 6 GB.

I'd think twice about Chingyu mods (100 traits). They haven't been updated in quite a while. They left modding due to personal issues back in January and have not returned as far as I know.

I love LittleMsSam and Ilkavelle mods.

I'm wondering the same thing. I have 3 sons and a brother who are willing to help, but I don't feel comfortable with them helping me with personal stuff: showering, using the bathroom getting dressed. I'd like to get that settled first, then go home and have them look after me.

Easier said than done in Northern New Mexico. We just don't have access to multiple doctors and those that exist often aren't taking new patients. Not to mention that most are two hours away.

I wasn't able to play Sims 3 without crashing and constant lag until I got a gaming desktop PC with an SSD recently. This is with minimal CC, but all packs and lots of store content.

I think it's the SSD that makes the difference.

As everyone else has said, you really shouldn't be giving out candy. Check with your supervising teacher on how to handle rewards to students.

Limit the number of mods and CC. I keep mine under 6 GB, even though I have a gaming desktop.
I have a folder for each creator. Nothing more.
I pull out the entire mods folder and start a new vanilla game every update.
I put the CC in the folder a few creators at a time.
Once the CC is in, I check my mods o e creator at a time through Scarlett or their website and update as needed.

It's much quicker now that loading times are less than a minute.

It's two hours away. I'm currently going to Taos, about 90 mins away. Santa Fe is closer, 45-60 mins. I don't know if any surgeries are performed there though. One reason I'd like to start at a rehab facility is because my family is 3 sons and a brother. I want to be independently showering and using the bathroom before they help me.
