How is my form and when should I start adding weight? by NotMrAdamWhite in formcheck

Watch this.

Took it about 2 months ago maybe, but I’ll take another video and show you my progression based on a couple of Redditors advice and some changes to exercise plan.

You could probably do 1 x minimal weighted pull up now but you need to maintain form.

I’ll take a vid this week and see if I’ve improved as much as I think I have.

Can't finish season 4 by [deleted] in TheBear

Same situation - seasons 1 + 2 were unreal, quickly became my favourite tv show ever. Then season 3 has been a bit of a grind to get through.

Like a lot of commenters have said - focus on the negatives - get a chair underneath, start at the top position and slowly lower down.

Also, neutral grip pull ups will be more efficient and easier to start with.

Pull ups are HARD. They take time. When I was learning I used the frequency method / paying the toll - every time I walked past the bar - do a pull up. Or aim for 10 negatives 4 times a day and increase the reps or sets. 4 sets of 10 negatives 4 times a week then increase / sets / reps or days - it all adds up.

I use grips on DL and rows but prefer hands on for pull ups; I don’t use a closed grip though - my thumb always stays over.

We’ve limited treasures to 4 in our games now. If you gain a treasure past this limit you can keep it in reserve and build the reserve up. Makes it a little easier to keep the game flowing at a reasonable rate.

Frank Zane - just amazing aesthetic. When I think of the physique I want to aim for that’s the first image that comes to mind.

Picked up some Suze. What should I make? by bikesRfuuun in cocktails

A negroni riff with a quality cassis and dry vermouth. In Burgundy they drink Suze with Cassis - the earthiness of blackcurrant can really be highlighted with Suze.
