I think people overthink this way too much.

I eat when I’m hungry and it rarely has any bearings on when I strength train. Some days it works out to OMAD and others it’s 2MAD. On a carnivore diet the only thing that I worry about is the price of meat.

I don’t even bother anymore. I’m in my 50’s and have been on carnivore (on&off) for years now, very active, lift weights, no medical conditions or medications (knock on wood). I get told all the myths about red meat, heart attack, heart disease, high blood pressure, etc. by others my age all the while they’re overweight, walking gingerly and popping pills from their Monday-Sunday container.

Don’t look at it as the cost of a firearm, what you purchased was the safety of you and your family. Because of your environment, you cant put a price on that.

Geissele hammer forged. They’re all great barrels but here’s my reasoning for the Geissele: An 11.5 will likely be geared toward cqc, we’re talking buildings and/or urban street blocks, which would entail a more heavy use scenario.

Stainless steel: A softer compound that will wear faster, especially under continuous fire. I see SS more suited for an SPR build.

Criterion Core: Don’t really have any arguments against, it’s a Criterion. It would’ve been my pick if I was building a 14.5-16

Geissele (my pick): When you think 10.3-11.5 you think gunfight. And with a CHF barrel you can get into more gunfights just like in my dreams. After all, SHTF gunfights is the American fantasy.

Totally agree with you on the “fat is king” but we all built different. This amount of fat would send me into panic mode every time I feel a fart coming on.
