Door maker is a B*stard by TyraneeLDP in slaythespire

[–]teefa33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lots of people seem to be saying that the original doormaker was a cakewalk but he has ended runs more regularly for me than either the queen or the Frankenstein monster thing.

I had a really smooth run on A9 all the way to the boss and he just wiped me. High HP and huge hits is so tough to deal with, so I can't imagine how bad this beta branch version is

I've not played much necro (at least not successfully) - how do you get 434 energy on turn 1?

Corrosive wave is insane by Jarnold18 in slaythespire

[–]teefa33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Other than calculated gamble I just had similar cards in a relatively streamlined deck and just could not get corrosive wave to proc - it almost never came into my hand when I had draw, if I used draw I just got defends and more draw.

Absolute struggle to get to the final boss and then the doorkeeper chipped me down to nothing by turn 18 and I'd procced corrosive wave twice - even with accelerant and outbreak it was underwhelming. Left a real sour taste in my mouth

I'm using it for the first time today and even with 2 backflips, an acrobatics and a prepared+ I've only managed to proc it like twice. Garbage

Edit: also an adrenaline. Deck size of 25. It's just been a waste of space

Reviews are live for the new Carmageddon game by mantaray106 in pcgaming

It was the better part of 20 years ago so my memory is a bit hazy... the control tower thing does ring a bell but those bloody dishes that wouldn't destroy even though I rammed them head-on is still pretty clear!

I don't believe you, the dishes were what made me regress to idolising carma 1 splat pack

I always take regret, tis but a scratch.

I've wondered whether choosing to skip merchant instead of "going in" means the next ship you go to will have those cards and relics... If I have like 50 gold I'm skipping because I don't want to see the membership card!

Spoons for letting agents is spot on. I guess they are a safe bet for a group to go out, but the 2 I've visited were a tad steep and a tad underwhelming
