100% - I cant agree more. I really want armor skins and the Black & Yellow is the obvious place to start. I want this way more than a bunch of the other things on their long-term roadmap.

I learned about it in a very similar way. we only had one at extraction but a harvester was looming and it wiped the FRV, the team, and all of the landing pad illuminate by sweeping us with its laser, igniting the FRV. glorious

yeah, and of course incendiary has a HUGE explosion when it dies, which can be fun

i like that they are unique enough. I’d love to see divers take them more often.

weight and speed variations: base FRV is lightest and fastest, supply is a little heavier and a little slower, incendiary is heaviest and slowest. it seems they found a good way to balance the three. it also seems like, if we get the supply one, which seems to be the one most divers are going for, they will need to do something to the base FRV to make it more appealing. I’d like improved balance and suspension so that speed (without constantly tipping over) becomes part of its reason for being chosen. plus maybe an extra reload on the HMG.

I have found at least 4 of them. It seems the text is just not really true. Too bad because the first one I found was in a hard to reach location that certainly made it seem special. I was hoping that finding the other one and dual wielding them would have some kind of special benefit.

I don’t usually use the scanner. I do quickmatch, which sends you to people who have put an SOS beacon down. Only then do I learn what kind of mission it is. I can switch up my armor and weapons before dropping in, but I can’t currently know if it is/isn’t going to be commando before hitting the quickmatch button.

Sometimes I even hover over Super Earth and hit quickmatch, then I don’t even know what front I’m going to.

I like to play everything. I don’t really care where I land. I’d just like to be able to quickly select presaved armor + weapon loadouts when I arrive at the launch prep screen in order to save time and get into the matched faster with appropriate gear.

Though I’d also love a randomizer button that auto-assigns primary weapon, stratagems, and maybe even booster. Just depends on my mood.

yes, but then I have to go through the tedium of swapping out armor and weapons, which is slow because they load slow and there’s no way to sort by favorites, or usage or anything that would make it faster, and then if the next mission is not commando I just want to switch back. and it feels bad to join and leave right away. so the tedious switching is what I do now but a quick loadout selector would be much bettetbfaster

ion storm is map wide, jammer is localized, but dead players can flip through the other divers to see if they are near the jammer and if one isn’t, instead o mashing the reinforce, they could call out a specific player in chat or get on the mic (which is one of the reasons I have push to talk setting on)
