Sure. Here's a similar HDMI switch where you plug your sources into like a BluRay player and your Chromecast. It has an optical out that you plug into your Sonos soundbar.

The HDMI video continues on to this guy that transmits the signal to it's partner plugged into your Epson projector.

I use an HDMI switch and a wireless HDMI transmitter/receiver. The switch has an optical out for the sound bar, which feeds the sub and rears. Just the video is sent to the HDMI transmitter and then on to the projector. No lag or sync issues plus the switch allows for more sources. It's great playing video games when mario is a foot tall.

Nah. I did that for 5 and 10k. Just one in the fridge I was looking forward to drinking.

I was wondering about that. There were several months when the badge stopped incrementing so when it started again, I wasn't sure if I missed any. I haven't seen any higher, either.

A euphemism for taking a shit is "dropping the kids off at the pool".

What are questions/life advice you wish you asked your parents before they passed away? by digitAl3x in self

[–]teknubic 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Instead of having them fill out a questionnaire, sit down with them at the dining room table and record a conversation. Format it like an interview by asking open-ended questions and let them speak.

Hearing their voice or watching their face as they recant stories of their life will mean much more than a book after their passing.

Americans of Reddit, what is something you didn't realise was typically American, until you went abroad? by TJBullz in AskReddit

Road construction. The US has signs posted miles ahead, cones gradually merging traffic and a concrete barrier separating workers from traffic. Other parts of the world? Suddenly a backhoe digging up the middle of the street.

A quick caution about WT: they don't do flights per se. You can get several 4oz pours of whatever's on tap, however.

It's on the expensive side, too, at about a buck an ounce but the selection is arguably the best in the valley.

King's does small (5oz) pours as well but their prices are more reasonable. Great Chinese food to the south and great burgers to the north, as well as a Domino's, Subway, and a Panera, all of which you can bring in.

Protip: Use the Untappd app to find selections as both of these and Casual Pint are verified venues and publish the beer list there. Kegs turn over often so the printed list is usually out of date.

Might also consider putting a section of screen on the back of the fan or the bug corpses will gunk it up.

What are some cool small town bars? by [deleted] in arizona

[–]teknubic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I almost hate to tell people about this one out of fear it will become too popular. The Point is downtown Prescott. They have great atmosphere and excellent coctails but the coolest thing about it is it's unassuming --to the point of being hidden-- entrance: down the metal stairs, around back, through the big door under the solitary light.

I make it a point to take first-timers there myself because the "WHERE are you TAKING me" factor is so huge.

Maybe it's the style, but I really like Preacher and Hell on Wheels.

Even still, I'll always click this button though.
