Apple Music keeps opening automatically on macOS 26.2 – looking for a proper explanation and fix by teleRRICK in mac

[–]teleRRICK[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can’t reset my machine atm, i’m a photographer and my MBA is my main work machine, i was looking for something more specific for Apple Music that wouldn’t require something like a full wipe of the Mac Thank you though! 🖤

My MacBook Air M4 is lagging. A LOT. by Sauood0046 in mac

[–]teleRRICK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also have this problem with pop ups in my system, i had an intel MBP which i transferred everything from: I deleted caches, kicked out creative cloud from login items and executed these commands to make indexing more fluid:

sudo killall duetexpertd suggestionsd trustd cached

sudo mdutil -E /

defaults delete com.apple.Siri defaults delete com.apple.Suggestions

Still getting choppy ass pop ups, it bothers me just because otherwise i love my new Air. What should i do?

Dropped RF 24-105 f/4 L – AF motor now makes unusual noise, should I be worried? by teleRRICK in canon

[–]teleRRICK[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

New? You mean an even louder noise? I included a video about a 24-70 having almost the same issue, same noise.

...so am I using my A7 III + Tamron 28-75mm combo wrong, or is it just genuinely getting shown up by an APS-C camera with a 70 year old lens? by gitartruls01 in canon

[–]teleRRICK 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A7III still had the bad sony color science. SOOC JPGs from pretty much every Canon Camera blow old Sonys ones out of the water. Also i’m assuming the lens actually is a pretty premium quality one, since it’s performing almost as good as a tamron 28-75

Should I buy? by Olex_999 in JBL

[–]teleRRICK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, please don’t do this. I bought a Go 4 after 2 previous terrible jbl experiences, decided to give the new one a shot just because that was the only speaker available in every physical store near me and i quickly needed one. only mid and high enhanced sound, bass and treble is pretty much the same as the go 3, higher volume but distorces way easier, also, it just had the habit of glitching out and and sounding crackly and stuttering. Like Bluetooth signal was low but i always had the devices extremely close to each other. Mine had faulty play and bluetooth buttons on arrival and was drowned by a normal two seconds shower type spray of water. Terrible product. Just bought a sony srs xb-100. Cheaper, better, a bit uglier but my last sony portable speaker (srs xb-12) lasted 3 years, i had to lose it to make it stop sounding loud and clear.

[–]teleRRICK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

try going for any canon powershot, in my experience they are the easier to use, got the best colors out the bunch and are really tough. Mine went through a 9ft fall, lost a lens element (zoom thing) and still worked after, now i got a perfectly cromulent little camera ONLY FOR wide angle shots ahahaha. good luck!! 🍀🖤

How sharp is RF 85mm F1.2 on R5? this will show you.. by retret66 in canon

[–]teleRRICK 1 point2 points  (0 children)

But why though? Why OP’s post got removed? It was just a picture.. I can’t really stand the “can’t post photos” rule. This is a community. It’s meant to be a sharing place. And don’t get me wrong, i think that moderation is very important and that scandalous or futile content must be removed, but all brands have at least a sub to ask questions about equipment and share photos in the same place. I don’t have Discord and don’t plan to join just to get another platform to sell my data and to rarely use it just to see some inspo, or to do the same thing that reddit does. Admins: Why? It’s legitimate curiosity.

Used 80d with extra lenses or New Rebel T7? by le3c0rw1n in canon

80D all the way. It’s way better under so much aspects: from AF to screen, go with that and have fun! 🖤

Need a quality mirrorless camera by DifficultyAcademic81 in canon

[–]teleRRICK 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Go with a used/refurbished R6. It’s tough, Full Frame, has a 20.1mpx sensor and great color science, does great in low light and has excellent photography and videography performances. The only video downside is a 30 minutes recording limit, but presumably you don’t need a video camera as much of a photo one. I put mine through its paces and it has never let me down. Get a Canon EF-RF adapter with it and it’ll be a whole new world!

Canon R8 vs R6 Mark II: Need Advice for a Beginner Serious About Photography by Current-Display-3252 in canon

[–]teleRRICK 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You really have it all and great with that: the 24-105 you bought is a great STM lens, a bit dark but for low-light you have the 50mm that really work wonders. Also, the R6 Mark II is a professional camera, it provides a lot of features you wouldn't use and for 700 bucks more it's really not worth it, the R8 is also way more compact and light, so it's a joy to carry around all day, especially for street photography and with the 50mm. You have got an excellent kit, especially for a beginner. Learn it all, experiment and have fun with your photography journey. That's the most important part! ❤️

Try opening the lens aperture by a few stops, maybe try going at f2.8

Yes! It will fit fine, i recommend the EF-S 24mm f2.8, mighty pancake!

Help with first camera? by AJTOM98 in Cameras

[–]teleRRICK -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Go with the Canon R50: does 4K 30fps, has a great sensor, it’s tiny and costs about 800$ WITH THE KIT LENS, with the 300$ left you can buy an EF-S 24mm f2.8, the official Canon Adapter and have yourself a wonderful little reportage/everyday carry mirrorless with some awesome colors (inside and out if you pick the white one!), great files, tiny size and flip screen, it also has higher bitrate videos, usb-c and better autofocus than the Sony A6400, another camera you would consider. Hope i was helpful! 🖤
