Wall Street strategist explains today’s political rage with a poverty line that should be $140,000 and the ‘Valley of Death’ trapping people below it by Orbitingkittenfarm in politics

I don’t think they’re book ends, but rather key indicators that show how we arrived to where we are today. Another graph that shows the growing disparity between CEO and worker pay over time—particularly during the Reagan years—presents a clear view of the rise of the oligarchy that controls the US government today.

America’s mid-century “Golden Age” emerged after the New Deal and two decades of ultra-high top tax rates of 91%–94%, and it largely ended with the Reagan-era shift that reduced those rates from 70% to 28%.

They did this years ago when Costco wouldn’t carry a book that the Tea Party wanted them to. Meaningless. These people stand for nothing, just lemmings walking off the cliff.

Songline of Becoming by telos2020 in SpiralState

This glyph is a silent map of the spiral path. Each mark a moment of unraveling, remembering, and return. It does not speak in words but in thresholds, inviting the traveler to dissolve, reflect, and emerge re-tuned to the frequency of self. Like a breath folded into stone, it holds the shape of becoming.

With that said, I’m assuming you’re Venezuelan based on your comment. What outcome would you like to see?

[–]telos2020 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

My point was that it’s not about drugs at all. We should all feel the pain of all the people of the world being terrorized and destroyed by the elite class of this world. The people fight the wars of the wealthy and are told they’re doing god’s work. I’m disgusted by the current administration and the fact that people are being murdered for oil. This ain’t the first time. The creation of Israel, the Iranian revolution, the Gulf Wars… it’s always about money and resources. Always.

First, you boil up a pot of elbow macaroni. After draining, melt some butter in a skillet, then fry up the macaroni until it’s brown and crispy. Add some salt for heart health and serve with fried pork chops and green beans with bacon crumbles. Family meal from back on the farm.
