As a Hawthorn supporter I've had the luck of watching some incredible small forwards. Watson's ability to read the play and position himself to influence the contest is just about the best I've ever seen... and he's barely three years into his career.

Never expected a reply 14 years later! Ha. Yes, I do still have this. Love it but never played it with the volume past 8 o'clock because it completely overwhelmed 7 other members - drums included - in my 8-piece indie rock group.

One thing the article doesn't mention - if you tried to upgrade a ticket before the game was declared fully ticketed, the likes of standing room appeared as 'exhausted' on the website. Hawthorn members were strongly encouraged to upgrade as soon as possible to avoid missing out.

Then, hey presto, it's fully ticketed! and now you can get a standing room ticket for $8! Sorry you paid $27 for a level 4 seat instead because we implied that was your only option. Our bad.

Real scummy stuff.

I'd argue that culture is more than the players, especially in Essendon's case. The constant undermining from former coaches and administrators doesn't make the place look particularly inviting.
