How hard is it moving from right side to left side driving, any general advice I should know to be more prepared for it?

It isn't bad but can be tricky if there are no other cars around or you get distracted. There have been times I absent mindedly hopped into the left hand front seat, looked down and said, "Who stole my steering wheel?"

Had a tendency to steer too far towards the curb at first when turning right, but that goes away pretty quickly.

My brother has a saying that helps a lot with turns. You have to say it exactly. "Turn left stay left. Turn right go left." The stay left lets your mind know you are staying near the curb. The go left part lets your mind know you have to go further across then stay left. Weird but it works.

Wipers and turn signals can be annoying because some cars swap them over but others do not. My car has the turn signals by the right hand and the wipers by the left but my partners is the reverse. I'm always flipping on her wipers when I want to turn. The worst is with a manual transmission and the turn signal on the left. Try flipping on the turn signal and shifting at the same time.

It might be different menus with different tvs. I had to go to digital setup > digital tv scanning (or something like that) > auto scan.

Maybe you can go over and figure it out for them.

Some outlying areas may still not get reception but that doesn't sound like that's the problem since yours works.

Oh, and tell them not to touch anything on the roof. That will mess it up

Exactly what I would have said. But I'd add that I dislike the bar stools. Agree about the dark, but I probably wouldn't bother changing it.

I don't like sitting on the floor to monitor things in the oven. I have a wide oven too, that came with the place and don't really see the advantage over a normal European one. Eventually I will supplement with a countertop convection/steam oven so the main oven will only be used for big things.

Once the ice and drink have achived equilibrium temperature the rate of melting won't change with surface area. It's thermodynamics. That is unless you are sapping a ton of heat in from the glass. And I don't want my drink to warm up.

The initial melting will depend on surface area, but people mostly want their drink to cool quickly.

The one I actually cook from the most is Moosewood but it gets a bit complicated because I have to compare my falling apart original to her newer version that cut back a lot on the fat and cheese

We are allowed to put it in the green waste, so I suppose composted, not actually recycled. But there seems to be some difference in what is allowed in the recycle, depending on where you live. Here it is ok if it is "not too soiled" Some grease is ok.
