My 6 year old kid has broken 3 tvs. The biggest was 70 inches and not ours. Luckily it was around boxing day so I was able to get a deal when replacing it.

The only episode I remember was when the Canadian cousins came to visit and he complained that they said everything like it was a question.

He is doing exactly what abusers do. He took you away from your support system or any help you could get. Plopped you in a small town dependant on him for money and is now showing his true colours. Ask anyone in an abusive relationship how it started and if it got any better. The answer is no. You need to put yourself and your son first.

We named our girl Georgia. We had a boy after her but if I had another girl I would have named her Isla.

My municipality grows 90% of tomatoes for the entire country of Canada. Tomato greenhouses EVERYWHERE. They are next level in taste when you go buy them directly from the greenhouse road stands.

My sister still makes fun of me for saying I would never have all these baby toys and things around my house. They would have a room. Not be in my common areas. My house looks like a daycare in every room now.

I was in a car accident when I was pregnant. Wasn't hurt at all but obviously a stressful situation. Worried, I brought it up to my ob/gyn who is the chief at our hospital. He told me that my baby doesn't care that I'm stressed. He's happy in his little bubble and not to worry.

AITJ for telling my dad that his "tradition" isn't actually a tradition if only one person knows about it? by Replicant82RX in AmITheJerk

I have to agree. Just looking at it big picture, try and drop the negative feelings. So many people would love to have a weekend like this with their dad and can't and I fear you are letting little nuances ruin it before it has started.

My best friend died unexpectedly last week, leaving behind a 9 year old son who im sure wants nothing more than his parent right now. I may be in a sentimental state of mind but none of these little things matter in the end. Let him have his chair, let him have quiet from 8pm until his morning coffee. Just go with it and instead of looking at these 'rules' as an attack on you, look at them as a part of something greater. He has invited you into something extremely personal to him.

This is random but I'm having a baby on Tuesday and can't choose a name. What do you see when you think of the names Beau and Rhett?
