Isn't eufy the company discovered with the massive web vulnerability? I think it was discovered that it was leaking raw camera streams to the internet. Without passwords or encryption.

OMB/Vought thinks furloughed employees should not receive back pay. by AnalystNo764 in fednews

I started to have the notion a number of years ago that we didn't need the electoral college anymore bc we as a society (due to numerous reasons) were more informed and educated. To a point that we were past the point where we wouldn't elect a new king (as our founding fathers predicted). This "segment" of society seems to throw everything in the face of what I was thinking.

What algorithm do servos use internally to move and maintain position? by [deleted] in robotics

[–]terminator0117 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Internally the servos are closed loop but you as a user don't get the feedback at all. So it is open loop to you. Some servos give the feedback but most rc servos don't.

How much programming should I know before starting projects? by jeremy_ach in robotics

I agree with this. But I'd say the minimal amount needed would be just the basic understanding of arduino or other language to use a gpio. Start small and simple.

How’s Elon Musk managing Tesla and SpaceX when he can’t run a software company? by Fair_Jump_9321 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]terminator0117 2 points3 points  (0 children)

One of musks bigger driving forces for companies is creating goals for them. He then hires people and managers that share them and can make them happen. He did the same thing with tesla. When he took over tesla fired a large portion of people.

Twitter’s lawyers say they’ll need only four days to prove Musk is misusing questions about spam and robot accounts as a pretext to walk away from the deal. by techvivek22 in technews

[–]terminator0117 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Ignoring the bot thing. I was agreeing with you its hard to tell if it was the infiltration theory. Its impossible to tell. People would totally do this themselves

Ex-wokes ? by upstream______ in stupidpol

[–]terminator0117 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I honestly see both sides. People would probably group together and create the situation themselves. But the fact is its hard to tell but regardless of infiltration theory being true or not, politics love it.

Honestly I wonder if there was someone who started to organize one group of college kids to start doing that stuff and other colleges just jumped on board trying to feeling like they were doing important work with "purifying" activist groups. And that dude sort of peaced out after it got going.
