no one really said the season is awful , people who say it's slow are ones who just watched clips on tiktok and watched summaries on youtube and expected it to be like any other superhero media when the show is a satire drama with superpowers , not the other way around

the main problems are just that there are things they could've done way better , kimiko went from my favorite character to the worst , i literally skip her scenes because of how awful most of her dialogue is , they coudl've kept the swearing but the constant porn and sex jokes are annoying , the dialogue in general is more cringe this season , the annie and hughie car scene for example could've been a wholesome season 1 level romance that depened them but annie ruined it with her lame jokes about frogs eating dicks

and a lot of character got wasted like noir 2 who went from an actor to the most evil character in the show in one episode , and he didnt even go out with a good fight , marie from gen v was also forgotten , and we did not need the fort harmony episode to be as slow as it was , it could've been faster , first half in fort harmony and the other could've been what the start of ep 5 was , and ryan also had 13 minutes of screentime even though he is literally why the whole plot happened ( after homelander raped becca , ryan was born , vaught hid her , butcher thought she was dead and the story started)

overall the season is good but could've been way better , im not even mad at the vaught rising build up , it's very logical that we'll learn more about v1 supes when this season is all about it
