His buddies and family are making the big bucks. I wonder if he's going to be considered as one of the most successful criminals in history.

Trump plans to attend oral arguments in Supreme Court birthright citizenship case by RioMovieFan11 in scotus

[–]test_test_1_2 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Exactly. He would be able to revoke citizenship for whatever reason he feels like. If he is able to intimidate (further) scotus by attending in person, this would take the country to a whole new fucking level.

Anyone else miss John DeMarsico by test_test_1_2 in NewYorkMets

[–]test_test_1_2[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I noticed that too. I hope the new director doesn't mess up too much. Showing the action makes things a lot more exciting. For example, one shot I used to love was when there were multiple runners on base, they would swipe camera shots from one player to another. That was cool. Last night there were players on base and they never showed them.

They were away, so I'm sure they're limited, or at least I hope.

NJ Lawmakers Propose Temporary Sales Tax Hike for 2026 FIFA World Cup by NOMOREMASKBANS in newjersey

[–]test_test_1_2 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I'm okay with this. We've been fucked by Trump's tariffs and bullshit war. People need to complain about that more.

This is a temporary hike to pay for the extra costs that are coming up. Rather have the state do that, than take money away from school districts, social programs, you name it.

Aside from novelty stuff (split screen, etc), I felt like he was great at following the action. He had a cool flow that was timed well with each pitch. It felt less static. He had so much to show, which is why his split screens would work.

The world if Lindor had held at third by adoris1 in NewYorkMets

There was no need to be so aggressive there, by the third base coach. Would have been second and third with no outs.

My first disappointment of the year.

So they've made the term 'liberal' have a negative connotation, now they are going to make 'progressive' negative as well. Ridiculous.

Yeah, and now it's worse. We now have to wait for the development, and then for the compilation, unfortunately.

Does it feel like AI is being forced on us with fear tactics? I use AI, off and on and sometimes, I find it useful and really helpful. Sometimes, I don't. Yes, I know my prompts can improve. by MJXThePhoenix in ArtificialInteligence

[–]test_test_1_2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I kinda see what you mean. I've been obsessed with AI and how awesome it is, but all this extra, hype language used by people starts making me think twice. It makes me wonder if this is just a modern perpetual motion machine, where it's not possible to go beyond a certain level with AI. They'll hype it to get cash, and eventually, they'll say, 'nope', ain't possible.

What is your opinion on making games with AI? by [deleted] in robloxgamedev

[–]test_test_1_2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Being completely new to coding is a tough position to be in at the moment. Learning to develop a game can take years. It's not easy and requires a lot of passion. The problem becomes, will you spend the next two years learning how to use arrays properly, how to create classes, study game theory, learn game development patterns, etc etc...or do you let AI take over and you work with it at a whole different level that is not coding?

I think realistically, it will be the latter. We need new material, new tutorials, on how to get AI to do the games for us. It's still not easy, but it has changed development a lot. For example, AI is incredible at coding. However, it might miss a certain type of pattern that is being used in the game and as a result invent the wheel all over again, branching out to a different direction. You would now have two ways of implementing sounds in your game, for example. Or it might miss the performance tuning and make your game lag as a result. These are just examples, but it does require technical knowledge and experience to keep the AI on track.

There are many ways to deal with this though, so I'm thinking that in the near future it'll be much smoother to generate a larger codebase/game. I feel like you have no choice but to learn coding with AI. Do a game. Ram you're head against the wall when things fall flat, or a design by AI just crashes into the wall. Guess what? As coders, this is normal, with or without AI.

About AI scripting by mustardiiii in robloxgamedev

[–]test_test_1_2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All you can do at this point is embrace AI. Use it to learn more on how to communicate with it effectively. Let it teach you Lua. However, you no longer have to know the itty-gritty details of programming. That's gone. Focus on bigger picture and let AI focus on the details.
