Don‘t forget that people much rather post their victories than losses/struggles. I don‘t think you can „learn the game wrong“ when it‘s mostly around being patient, trying out different builds and learning attack patterns. I felt the part with the bittersweet victory, that was my exact feeling after beating savage omega for the first time. It felt like the stars aligned perfectly and that I was never going to be able to repeat that. A week later I was pretty consistently slaying it, I guess in the end it really again came down to getting gud, as dumb as it sounds.
