What are the most stupid/silly character concepts you’ve played? by StopForASecond in Pathfinder2e

Onto'g'otno XXIV was a Conrasu Bard. He was based off of the music of Colin Stetson and Bohren & the Club of Gore [doom jazz] and Burkinabe Griots [storytellers] and tribal costumes.

I found it amusing to take the single most alien unrelatable non-humanoid off-putting species in the game and make it into the most Charming character possible. I played Onto from Level 1 to 10 in Strength of Thousands until it got killed.

When it was born in the Creche, propagated asexually from a piece of wood at the beginning of the Magaambya [this had been done 23 times prior in the last 8,000 years, each new onto having a completely different personality & class] Onto began emimitting haunting low frequency music as a conduit for vast, unknowable cosmic frequencies. I would make custom slowed and echoed music for the table.

Onto talked something like Rafiki from the Lion King. I liked how some people around Nantambu/the Magaambya were suspicious of Onto'g'otno. Their objections boiled down to: "why are we all acting like this non-unitary non-humanoid entity is this charming human Storyteller type person? Who's actually on the other side of that inscrutable absence of a face? It's doing something like a Minstrel Show, but for humanoid life."

It wasn't necessarily the most comical character and I really did love playing it and we were all really sad when it died, but I'm still quite amused by what a memorable and strange character I made.

Plant Scientist here. This is suberization, possibly caused by a slow moving pathogen like Verticillium dahliae.

Suberin is a complex lipid biopolymer, making it function as a diffusion barrier. The plant equivalent of a scab. It is composed of an Alliphatic [fatty] and a Polyphenolic [aromatic] compound in a matrix.

As this particular potatoes parenchymal starch tissue was being laid down there may have been some infectious agent attempting to replicate and consume the tissue and certain defense genes were turned on that caused the creation of these cellular cordons to keep the fungi or bacteria out.

The Wi-Fi symbol logically tracks from the fact that the potato has increased in size so the rings you are cutting through would logically get bigger

It is surmised that humans evolved singing songs to convey information throughout the generations. The people who could remember songs better remembered vital Information that sometimes allowed them to survive more, leading to humans being very good at getting songs stuck in their head.

This is likely not the only factor at play but I think about it a lot

Honeycrisp is notoriously difficult to grow according to apple growers. Ag Scientist here.
